Sceptile VS Guilmon is a what-if episode of Death Battle originally made by SlashLion5K, now being written by Vrokorta. It pits Sceptile & Brendan from the 3rd generation of Pokémon, against Guilmon & Takato from the 3rd season of Digimon. This is Vrokorta's Season 1 Finale.

Rules[]
- Both combatants get all their evolutions.
- Sceptile gets Mega Sceptile.
- Guilmon gets Megidramon, Gallantmon, & Gallantmon Crimson mode.
- Sceptile has access to all moves.
- This includes TMs, HMs, Move Tutor, & Z-Moves.
- Brendan will be composite from Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.
- That basically means I'm fusing his feats as the player with his personality & backstory as the rival.
- Brendan will only have Sceptile, no other Pokémon.
- These rules only apply to the analyses & outcome, the fight scene is fair game.

Boomstick: Pokémon vs Digimon, a battle people still do even though no one argues it anymore.
Wiz: For this battle, we'll be pitting both series' most popular gen 3 lizards & their trainers.
Vrokorta: Takato & Guilmon, the leaders of the 3rd season's tamers.
Boomstick: And Brendan & Sceptile, the champions of the Hoenn Region.
Vrokorta: They're Wiz & Boomstick, & I'm Vrokorta, it's our job to analyze these combatants weapons, armor, & skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle!

(Pokémon Sun & Moon Trainer Battle Music)
Wiz: Brendan's journey began when he moved to the town of Littleroot in Hoenn with his family. He made friends with May, helped Professor Birch, and got his first Pokémon.
Boomstick: Wait, I thought Brendan lived in Hoenn all his life, and he was training to be a Professor like his father Birch.
Vrokorta: Actually you're both right. For this fight, we'll be using both sets of information, so Brendan can be at his best.
Boomstick: Oh, well that's cool.
Wiz: In that case, Brendan is very smart, seeing as he's learned so much from Professor Birch and is working towards the same career goal as a Professor.
Vrokorta: Brendan's a nice person who just wants to do the right thing, but no one cares about that cause he's about to kill an innocent.
Wiz: Well, yes. Since Brendan's not the one who's actually fighting, we don't have many feats or abilities to go over.
Boomstick: But his equipment will sure come in handy. He's got potions to heal his Pokémon, a Pokedex that tells him about Pokémon, & a Mega Ring to help his Pokémon mega evolve.
Vrokorta: On his Pokémon journey, Brendan managed to beat every Gym Leader, defeat Groudon or Kyogre (it depends but it doesn't matter), & even overcome the Hoenn Pokémon League, a group of the strongest Pokémon trainers in Hoenn
Boomstick: Yep, Brendan's may be nice, but he doesn't mess around.
Sceptile[]
(Pokémon Sun & Moon Wild Pokémon Battle Music)
Vrokorta: Now for the main course, Sceptile.
Wiz: Sceptile is a pure Grass type Lizard Pokémon. He's equipped with sharp leaf blades on his arms & seeds on his back. He's known for his agility, jungle combat, jumping capabilities, and strategy.
Boomstick: Sceptile has two Abilities, Unburden & Overgrow. Unburden increases Sceptile's Speed when he uses or loses an item. It doesn't activate otherwise, so it's not that helpful. Overgrow multiplies the power of Grass type moves by 1.5 when Sceptile falls below 1/3 of his HP, which also isn't too helpful since he'd be pretty weakened by then.
Wiz: Due to Sceptile's typing, he only takes half the damage from Grass, Water, Electric, & Ground type attacks. But by far, one his strongest attributes is his moveset. Since Sceptile has a trainer with him, his moveset is far larger than that of a wild Sceptile.
Boomstick: Yeah, it's so big, we couldn't possibly list all his moves here, so we'll just list the more important ones.
Vrokorta: Fury Cutter is a slash attack that increases in power every time he successfully lands a hit with it, eventually becoming stronger than even Hyper Beam, one of the strongest regular Pokémon moves. Absorb, Mega Drain, & Giga Drain damage the opponent & heal Sceptile with varying levels of effectiveness. Detect & Protect negate all damage received for a short time, but their success rate decreases every time they're used in succession. Endeavor is an attack that weakens the enemy to have the same HP as Sceptile. Leaf Storm creates a storm of sharp leaves to attack the opponent, but lowers Sceptile's Sp. Atk by 2 stages. Frenzy Plant is another powerful move. With it, Sceptile either slams the opponent with a tree or summons giant roots to attack the opponent. Toxic badly poisons the opponent, which will damage them more & more as the fight goes on. Sunny Day has Sceptile intensify the Sun, which increases the power of Fire moves, lowers the power of Water moves, & allows Solar Beam to be used in one turn, since it normally requires time to charge. Safeguard protects Sceptile from status conditions. Frustration is an attack that increases in power the angrier Sceptile is. Solar Beam is a powerful blast of solar energy that takes a bit of time to charge when Sunny Day isn't in effect. Return is an attack that increases in power the more Sceptile likes his trainer. Double Team creates illusory copies of Sceptile. Aerial Ace is a fast attack that never misses. Swords Dance increases Sceptile's Physical Attack power. Substitute creates a decoy to distract the opponent.
Boomstick: And that's barely scratching the surface. Before we move on to feats, we'll list a few more of Sceptile's moves.
Wiz: In Pokken Tournament, Sceptile can throw leaf projectiles in the shape of ninja stars, fire off blades of energy, and briefly turn invisible. He can also grow a variety of plants from the ground with varying effects.
Boomstick: As for Sceptile's feats, he's strong enough to cut through thick trees and steel doors. He was also strong enough to defeat Ash's Pikachu & Tobias's Darkrai. Considering this is Brendan's Sceptile, it also would've helped him fight Groudon/Kyogre, who're planet busters at their best.
Vrokorta: He also defeated Shadow Mewtwo, who was powerful enough to create & destroy a pocket dimension that appears to contain several stars. If we assume this to be true, this could put Sceptile at Multi Solar System levels of power if we highball.
Wiz: Sceptile is quite impressive, but he's got his flaws. He takes double the damage from Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, & Bug type attacks.
Boomstick: But don't worry about that, cause we're not done with Sceptile yet. He can also Mega Evolve.
Vrokorta: Yes, once Sceptile Mega Evolves, his attack power, durability, & speed all take a jump in power. He also gains the ability to shoot his tail off like a missile.
Wiz: Mega Sceptile has the Ability Lightning Rod. Every time an electric type move is used, not only is it drawn to Sceptile, but it also increases his Sp. Atk every time he's hit.
Boomstick: And the best part is, he's immune to electric attacks, making electric attacks 100% beneficial to Sceptile with no repercussions!
Wiz: On top of all that, he gains the Dragon typing on top of his Grass type. This makes him take half the damage from Ground type moves, & 1/4 of the damage from Grass & Water attacks.
Vrokorta: However, he also takes 2X the damage from Poison, Flying, Bug, Dragon, & Fairy type attacks, as well as 4X the damage from Ice attacks.
Brendan: But even with all that, Brendan & Sceptile are no pushovers, & they'll always fight to the end for what's right.

Wiz: In Japan, every kid was a fan of the big toy and game franchise known as Digimon.
Boomstick: Probably cause Pokémon didn't exist.
Vrokorta: Shut up.
Wiz: One of the many fans of this series was Takato Matsuki, a twelve year old boy who's either drawing Digimon, or playing the card game.
Boomstick: Or slacking off from school.
Vrokorta: One day, he designed and drew his own Digimon known as Guilmon. He tried scanning the drawing and all its background and attack info into his card scanner. It didn't work at first, but long story short, the scanner became a Digivice, and Guilmon was brought to life.
Boomstick: But it wasn't all peaches and rainbows as I'm sure you'd expect. Guilmon was very childish, and often disobeyed Takato for reasons like not wanting to be alone or bored, he was also easily influenced by others. That doesn't even mention the enemy Digimon that kept showing up, alongside Guilmon's feral virus instincts!
Wiz: Woah, slow down Boom, this is Takato's analysis.
Boomstick: Okay okay. Takato faced many hardships as a Digimon tamer, between Guilmon not listening, fighting enemy Digimon, and protecting Guilmon from who knows what, there was always something getting in their way!
Vrokorta: Luckily, Takato made friends that helped him on his journey. Together, they learned to cope with, and solve all their problems, but not without a few tools at his disposal.
Wiz: Takato possesses a Golden D-Power-
Boomstick: Which is really just a Digivice with yellow parts.
Wiz: It's far more than that. Takato's D-Power lets him detect Digimon, usually just Guilmon. It can scan Digimon and give Takato information on them.
Boomstick: Which is surprisingly less useful than you'd think.
Wiz: What IS useful is Takato's ability to scan Digi-Modify Cards.
Boomstick: These actually ARE really useful.
Vrokorta: Digi-Modify effects vary from basic stat boosts, to giving Guilmon new attacks and equipment. Not only that, but using several Digi-Cards in succession can boost the power a Card already gives. One of his more notable cards would be the Hyper Wing, which grants Guilmon six wings that let him fly.
Boomstick: Let's not forget the Digivolution cards. Takato can use certain Digi-Cards to make Guilmon digivolve, though the ability comes from a mixture of the D-Powers... power, Takato's wishes and feelings, and the light of Digivolution. Makes the cards seem pretty useless.
Wiz: Speaking of Takato's feelings, they're directly connected to Guilmon. Takato's feelings can influence Guilmon, for better or worse.
Vrokorta: Like the time when he made Wargrowlmon strong enough to defeat Vikaralamon, or the time when he made Wargrowlmon Digivolve into Megidramon.
Wiz: But all of this pales in comparison to his greatest ability, Bio-Merge Digivolution.
Vrokorta: Yeah. With this he fuses with Guilmon, and together they form Guilmon's true mega form, Gallantmon, but we'll save him for Guilmon's analysis.
Boomstick: Takato's got a few decent feats under his belt too.
Wiz: He was durable enough to survive falling from the real world to the Digital World so hard he made a crater, he survived being hit from the blast created by one of Indramon's attacks, and he survived being blasted away by Zhuqiaomon, a Digimon Sovereign, one of the strongest Digimon around.
Boomstick: He was even able to outpace Behemoth, a motorcycle on par with Mega Digimon.
Vrokorta: Of course, Takato has a few flaws. He once let his feelings get the better of him, which corrupted Guilmon into becoming the evil Megidramon. When bad things like this happen, he often beats on himself and starts to doubt his choices, which I'm sure someone could exploit. On top of that, when Guilmon fights as any evolution higher than his rookie form, Takato will start to feel the pain that Guilmon endures.
Boomstick: Like Ash-Greninja?
Vrokorta: Yes, except this came first. Anyways, this weakness never seems to keep Takato from getting the job done, and it can be attributed to his durability since he endures all the pain Guilmon goes through. He can even take the pain as Gallantmon, so more power to him.
Wiz: With that done, we'll move on to Guilmon.
Guilmon[]
(Digimon Adventure 02 OST Side By Side EXTENDED)
Vrokorta: Buckle down boys, we're in for a long one.
Boomstick: Don't underestimate the power of beer *takes a swig*. Let's do this.
Wiz: We don't really need to go over Guilmon's backstory since it's more or less the same as Takato's.
Vrokorta: So right into the good stuff! Guilmon's a rookie level reptile Digimon with the virus attribute. His attacks consist of a variety of claw & fire attacks like Rock Breaker & Pyro Sphere respectively. That's literally 90% of his moveset.
Wiz: The fire in question is so hot that it can burn underwater, which would mean that it burns at temperatures around 4,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
Boomstick: He can also increase his attack power with moves like Muscle Charge and Attack Charge.
Vrokorta: Guilmon even has a set of equipment. He has the Kurogane Maru, which is an armor slicing katana, and a race kart.
Boomstick: You're not kidding are you?
Vrokorta: Nope.
Wiz: Anyways, Guilmon has an excellent sense of smell, can swim and fight underwater, can jump pretty high, dig, and doesn't have trouble looking into bright lights.
Boomstick: In Digimon All-Star Rumble, he was able to temporarily grow wings and glide, without any help from Takato or a card.
Vrokorta: When Guilmon senses danger or gets into a fight, he tends to go feral, which can cause him to ignore Takato's orders, though it does improve his fighting capabilities a bit. He also somehow projected a transparent version of Megidramon's tail to protect Takato from Beelzemon, but he only did this once, so it's not really legit. He also has an ability called Small Recovery that slightly heals him.
Wiz: As for feats, Guilmon is far above the power of the average rookie Digimon. He's traded blows with, taken beatings from, and even defeated several champion level Digimon.
Boomstick: Better yet, he's able take hits from ultimate level Digimon, and even defeated ultimate level Digimon, as well as Digimon who could defeat ultimates, though he needed digi modifies to pull it off.
Vrokorta: He even took a casual hit from Zhuqiaomon and survived being frozen by Ice Devimon, who's strong enough to freeze ultimates.
Wiz: Of course, Guilmon has his weaknesses. He takes more damage from Earth based attacks, is naive and childish, isn't very smart, and doesn't listen to Takato when he's feral.
Boomstick: Guilmon may look small, but he's one tough cookie.
Wiz: Actually Boom, we're not done.
Boomstick: WHAT!?
Vrokorta: Yeah, not even close.
Boomstick: Alright, so what's next?
(Digimon 02 Evolution Theme - Break Up!)
Vrokorta: Next up is Growlmon, a champion level dark dragon Digimon of the virus attribute.
Wiz: Similar to Guilmon, Growlmon uses his claws and fire breath in battle, but Growlmon is far stronger.
Boomstick: He even has a few new attacks, like Dragon Slash, where he charges the blades on his elbows with plasma before either striking the opponent or throwing the plasma at them.
Vrokorta: He's even got some attacks to screw with the opponent. Picking Claw lets him steal an item from the opponent, Counter Alert lets him counter an attack, and Howling makes the enemy cower in fear.
Wiz: He also has Comet Hammer II, an earth based attack. He can increase his attack and defense with Double Power & Double Guard respectively, and he heals half his HP with Medium Recovery.
Boomstick: Just like Guilmon, Growlmon has a race kart. More importantly, his body gives off a lot of heat, enough to make a leaf combust just by touching him. He also roars to intimidate opponents. On top of that, he's pretty good at melee fighting.
Vrokorta: Now for feats. Not only is Growlmon stronger than Guilmon, but he can one-shot champion and armor level Digimon on his own. He was strong enough to hold back ultimates like Locomon and Sinduramon, and durable enough to take hits from Mephistomon & Gulfmon, a Digimon who's strong enough to fight Omnimon, and the evolved form of Mephistomon respectively.
Wiz: His only weaknesses are the same as Guilmon, Earth attacks, goes feral, nothing new.
Boomstick: That all?
Vrokorta: No.
Wiz: Next is Wargrowlmon, an ultimate level android Digimon of the virus attribute. He possesses Chrome Digizoid armor, bladed arms, a sharp tail, and vernier that allow flight.
Boomstick: Isn't he a bit big for that?
Vrokorta: Fiction my good Boomstick, physics don't apply.
Wiz: Wargrowlmon can attack with his blades and tail, as well as shoot beams and electricity from the chest cannons on his armor. Said beams can destroy opponents on the atomic level. He can also breathe fire like his previous evolutions. He can still use Picking Claw & Counter Alert, but he also gains Mega Protection, Mega Strength, & Speed Up, which increases his defense, attack, & speed respectively. With Small Absorption, he can heal himself based on the amount of damage he does to the enemy.
Boomstick: Of course, Wargrowlmon is stronger than Growlmon, but he has a few feats to back that up.
Vrokorta: When empowered by Takato, Wargrowlmon was able to defeat Vikaralamon, an ultimate so strong that not even three ultimates were enough to take him down. He survived his own beams being reflected back at him, took hits from Beelzemon, a mega level Digimon, and survived being bathed in flames by Zhuqiaomon.
Wiz: Wargrowlmon has the same faults as Growlmon, but with one thing added. He wears a restraining tool around his mouth to keep him from rampaging due to excess power. This would imply that Wargrowlmon would go out of control if its restraints were removed or it gained too much power.
Boomstick: Okay, how many more?
Vrokorta: Three.
Boomstick: OH COME ON!!!
(Paper Mario Color Splash Blackout)
Wiz: Megidramon is a mega level evil dragon Digimon of the virus attribute.
Boomstick: I was gonna ask what the change in tone was for, but then you said "evil dragon". Is he really that bad?
Vrokorta: Indeed he is Boomstick. He's known as the most evil dragon Digimon and is capable of destroying the Digital World.
Boomstick: Damn *takes a swig*. What else does he do?
Wiz: Well, he has fire attacks, he can roar shock waves, he can use his wings to fly, he has acidic saliva, his body's made of Chrome Digizoid, he's got a long bladed tail, he can inflict poison & confusion, and his existence alone threatens the fabric of the Digital World.
Boomstick: Not bad.
Vrokorta: Megidramon was also strong enough to fight Beelzemon, a mega Digimon who absorbed the data of several other Digimon prior to his fight.
Wiz: He doesn't have the same weaknesses as his prior forms, but he does have two weaknesses of his own. He's completely out of control, and he's vulnerable to water attacks.
Boomstick: Water... really?
Vrokorta: Well he's heavily fire based, so it makes sense.
Boomstick: Fine, what's next?
(Digimon Adventure Tri - Brave Heart (All Shinka))
Vrokorta: Gallantmon is a mega level holy knight Digimon of the virus attribute.
Boomstick: Hey, if this is the part where he becomes a good guy, then why's he still a virus?
Vrokorta: I guess it doesn't matter what attribute you are to be a good guy.
Wiz: Gallantmon is capable of flight, wears armor made of Chrome Digizoid, wields a lance and a shield, and rides a ZERO-ARMS named Grani.
Boomstick: Hey, what's a ZERO-ARMS?
Vrokorta: It's a digital lifeform that serves as a weapon for other Digimon. They're normally not sentient, but Grani is.
Wiz: Grani is made of Red Chrome Digizoid, arguably the strongest material in the Digital World. It can fly and fire a giant blue laser called the Yuggoth Blaster.
Vrokorta: Gallantmon has a lance called Gram & a holy shield called Aegis. With them, he can fire electric & energy based projectiles. He can manipulate fire and light, heal himself, and raise his stats. Not only that, but his attack, Shield of the Just, never misses when used in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth. He's also immune to confusion.
Wiz: He was strong enough to defeat Beelzemon, who previously defeated Megidramon, block attacks from Zhuqiaomon, and fight the D-Reaper which did a number of things. Not only does the D-Reaper's particles move at FTL speeds, but it was strong enough to defeat Beelzemon, lay waste to the Digital World, and overpower every mega Digimon in the Digital World, including the Digimon Sovereigns.
Boomstick: Damn, and he defeated that thing?
Vrokorta: Not on his own, but he played a big part.
Wiz: His only weakness is dark based attacks.
Bomstick: Question.
Wiz: Yes?
Boomstick: If Gallantmon can fly, why does he need to ride Grani?
Vrokorta: Well, in Digimon Tamers, it's implied that Gallantmon can't fly. However, he stays in the air for so long that he can basically fly already. Besides, other Gallantmon have shown the ability to fly, so it only makes sense that he can too.
Boomstick: Alright, next is last right?
Wiz: Yup, we're almost done.
Boomstick: Sweet *takes a swig*. Told'ya I'd make it.
Vrokorta: Gallantmon Crimson Mode, a mega level holy knight Digimon of the virus attribute.
Wiz: In this form, Gallantmon releases all its power, becoming so hot that his armor becomes red.
Boomstick: Damn.
Vrokorta: He gains energy wings and two new weapons, a divine lance called Gungnir and a divine sword called Blutgang, both with no physical form, but it can still hit things & be destroyed with enough force, something the D-Reaper was capable of doing.
Wiz: Crimson Mode is immune to all status disorders and is far stronger than regular Gallantmon.
Vrokorta: His attacks are mostly the same as Gallantmon, but with a few extra. Crimson Light has him shatter the bonds between two worlds, disintegrating several opponents and scattering their electrons across the void. In Cyber Sleuth, it never misses and has a 10% chance to instantly kill the opponent.
Boomstick: Now that's what I call a final form!
Vrokorta: Crimson Mode was strong enough to defeat one of the strongest D-Reaper agents on his own with no weapons, kill several Parasimon just by entering the form, and kill hundreds of Parasimon with Crimson Light. Keep in mind, Parasimon are mega Digimon.
Wiz: But he has one big weakness. Due to Gallantmon releasing so much energy at once, this form is only temporary. This is likely because it would damage his body if he used it for too long. He's also still vulnerable to dark attacks.
Boomstick: Who cares, he'll probably beat anyone he's up against before it even wears off. That research was definitely worth the wait *takes a swig*.
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. You know what that means.
Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE!!!!!!!!!!!
Vrokorta: This, took, so, long.
Pre-Death Battle[]
(Note: This is gonna be a bit lengthy)
Takato and Guilmon are seen walking through a forest. They'd just arrived at the Hoenn region, and they were getting their bearings on the area. Little did they know, a large figure loomed behind them, & it started coming their way. The two noticed it just in time to get out of the way before it could crush them. The figure was Tropius, and it wasn't after them, it was after the fruit hanging from the tree in front of them. However, Takato & Guilmon didn't notice this, and they assumed it was a hostile Digimon.
Takato: Didn't think any Digimon would be after us out here. Guilmon, you know what to do.
Guilmon: Right! Pyro Sphere!
Guilmon shot a fireball from his mouth, landing a direct hit on the unknowing Tropius. The Pokémon cried out in pain before facing its attackers. Guilmon continued to shoot fireballs at Tropius, landing several hits and severely burning the poor creature. Tropius began flapping its wings to escape, but Takato noticed this and ordered Guilmon to attack its wings.
Guilmon: Pyro Sphere!
Guilmon shot more fireballs, burning Tropius' wings and causing it to fall to the ground.
Takato: Now we've got him! Keep it up.
Guilmon continued his attack, but Tropius started running away.
Takato: We gotta stop that Digimon, who knows what it'll do if it reaches civilization?
The thought of Vikaralamon attacking Tokyo popped into Takato's head as he thought about what might happen. He had to stop this thing.
Meanwhile...
Professor Birch is seen sitting in a tree, hidden from the view of others outside. He'd been hiding for quite some time, waiting for a Tropius he'd been studying to come by. He heard the rustling of leaves and branches. Only something as big as Tropius could make that much noise. But the rustling soon turned to crashing as a wingless Tropius came barreling through the forest with patches of fire all over its body. He started to worry, what could've caused this? Birch would've climbed down to help had he not spotted his answer, a red, fire breathing dinosaur chasing after Tropius.
Birch: What is that?
Birch nervously held up his Pokedex, hoping to get some info on this creature. As soon as it scanned Guilmon, the dex glitched and exploded in Birch's hand. Birch was in shock, what Pokémon could cause the Pokedex to do that? He watched Guilmon jump onto Tropius, striking its back and knocking it to the ground.
Takato: Alright Guilmon, let's finish it!
Guilmon held up his right hand, and spun his claws like a drill as his hand set on fire.
Guilmon: Fire Rock Breaker!
Upon landing the blow, an explosion of flames erupted from Guilmon's attack, spreading light fires across the area. As the flames cleared, Tropius' body was revealed to have been reduced to a charred corpse.
Takato: Ah, Guilmon! You overdid it!
Guilmon looked around at the flames he made.
Guilmon: Oops, sorry.
Takato: C'mon, we gotta put this out.
Takato and Guilmon started stamping out the flames. Birch was in utter shock. He couldn't believe what he'd just seen. He was so dumbstruck, he didn't notice the flame weakening the branch he was sitting on. The branch gave out under his weight and Birch fell to the ground, now perfectly within Takato & Guilmon's sights. Takato had a nervous look on his face.
Takato: Uhh... how much of that did you see?
Birch quickly sprang to his feet and ran away.
Takato: Wait! Don't be afraid.
Takato watched Birch for a while before turning back to Tropius. He was surprised to find it's body still there.
Takato: Guilmon, shouldn't this thing have turned to data by now?
Guilmon: Yeah, you're right.
Takato: Guilmon, I get the feeling we've just made a big mistake.
Later...
Birch makes his way back to civilization and runs into a police station.
Birch: Officer! *gasp* There was a red creature! *gasp* It killed Tropius. *gasp* My Pokedex. *gasp* We're all in danger!
Officer Jenny: Red creature? Was it a Pokémon?
Birch: I don't think so. My Pokedex blew up just from scanning it. I need to use your computer.
Birch got on the computer and called all the other Professors using Skype (or something).
Oak: Birch, what's the matter?
Birch: I was out in the woods, doing my studies, when suddenly, a red dinosaur attacked a Tropius, and killed it in cold blood! I tried using my Pokedex to figure out what it was, but it blew up.
Rowan: Blew up!? That's never happened before. We could be facing a serious threat!
Birch: I mean, the creature was pretty small, maybe I'm just paranoid.
Kukui: Small you say? If it's small, then it might have more evolutions. If it's not stopped now, who knows what it'll do in the future?
The other professors were silent, as was Jenny. Soon Oak spoke.
Oak: Kukui's right. We don't know enough to simply pass it off. If we want to avert a possible disaster, we need to act now! Gather every Pokémon trainer you can, tell them the danger we're facing. With their help, we should be able to handle this situation. The rest of us will gather backup in case of emergency.
Birch slowly nodded in agreement.
Oak: Good, now Arceus speed Birch, we're counting on you.
The call ended. Birch stood up and turned to Jenny.
Birch: You heard him officer. Get anyone you can as fast as you can! We need to stop this thing before it evolves.
Much later...
Takato and Guilmon are still in the forest.
Takato: Man, how big is this place?
Suddenly, several thorns were shot in their direction. The two narrowly dodged as their attacker came into view.
Cacturne: Cacturne.
A trainer walked out next to Cacturne & ordered him to continue attacking. Takato & Guilmon ran from the onslaught of thorns, but were met with a short pig creature.
Grumpig: Grummmm-pig!
Grumpig shot psychic blasts at the two, but they escaped that too.
Takato: Where did these guys come from?
Guilmon: They're probably angry that we killed that dinosaur!
The two continued running, and were met with-
Crobat: Crobat!
Takato & Guilmon narrowly escaped several sound waves, but were met with wave after wave of attacking Pokémon & their trainers. The two soon found themselves surrounded by hundreds of angry trainers and their Pokémon. A random trainer walked out of the crowd with a Buneary and approached Takato.
Random Trainer: Alright kid, hand over the dinosaur and we'll let you off easy.
Takato: Never! If you want Guilmon, you'll have to get through me first!
Takato held up his D-Power.
Takato: C'mon buddy, it's time to digivo-
Before Takato could finish, two green missiles knocked the Random Trainer and his Buneary away from Takato.
???: Takato!
Takato: Henry?
Henry & Rika were seen standing in a white dome as Rapidmon & Taomon floated down to Takato.
Henry: What's going on Takato?
Takato: I don't know! Everyone just started attacking me!
Various Trainers: Look, there's more of them! They have kids too! They're bigger, they do evolve! We gotta stop'em! Where'd they come from? I can't handle the pressure! We'll make you pay for what you did! Waifu fox.
Henry nervously looked at all the angry trainers around him.
Henry: Even if we managed to escape, they'd still come after us. Looks like we won't get outta this without a fight.
Rapidmon: Hey, if they want a fight, let's give it to'em!
With that, armageddon broke loose as Rapidmon and Taomon starting fighting the Pokémon. In the middle of all the chaos, a string of seeds hit Guilmon, knocking him off his feet.
Takato: Guilmon!
Takato looked at the origin of the attack, and saw green lizard facing them. Next to the lizard was a young boy Takato's age wearing a white hat.
Brendan: Alright kid, you've caused enough trouble. It's time for you to stop!
Sceptile: Sceptile!
Takato clutched his D-Power in his hand and looked at Brendan angrily.
Takato: You mess with Guilmon, you mess with me!
Guilmon got up & came to Takato's side, a vicious look on his face. Guilmon lit his claws on fire, and Sceptile's leaf blades glowed white. Then, they charged.

Sceptile VS Guilmon! A Ferocious Battle![]
(Brainiac Maniac [Dr. Zomboss Theme (Plants vs Zombies) - GaMetal Remix])
Guilmon leapt at Sceptile to slash him.
Brendan: Sceptile, block it!
Sceptile blocked with his leaf blades and threw Guilmon off. Guilmon landed on his feet & started spitting fireballs at Sceptile. Sceptile dodged each one before receiving his next order.
Brendan: Leaf Blade!
Sceptile ran up to Guilmon & slashed him with Leaf Blade repeatedly. As he slashed, Guilmon bit down on Sceptile's arm, causing him to cry out. With his arm in grip, Guilmon flipped Sceptile into the air & slammed him into the ground. Guilmon released his grip then bared his claws. Guilmon leapt onto Sceptile & delivered several flaming claw strikes to the downed Sceptile before being kicked off. As Sceptile stood up, Brendan gave another order.
Brendan: Energy Ball!
Sceptile started to conjure an orb of energy in his hands. He then fired it at Guilmon, who leapt over it & used Muscle Charge, increasing his strength & stamina. He charged at Sceptile as he fell, but Brendan gave another order.
Brendan: Use Detect, then Pound!
Sceptile completely negated Guilmon's attack before knocking him away with his tail. Guilmon landed on his side, but pulled himself back up.
Takato: Man, this guy's good, but he won't stop us! Right Guilmon?
Guilmon: Right!
Takato pulled out a card & his D-Power then held them in the air. He slashed the card through the D-Power.
Takato: Digi Modify! Hyperspeed activate!
Guilmon suddenly disappeared, much to Brendan & Sceptile's surprise. Sceptile was suddenly attacked from every angle by an invisible force. Brendan was unsure what to do, but then he had a thought. He held up his Pokedex to scan Sceptile, hoping to get an idea of what was attacking him. As he did so, the dex randomly glitched repeatedly. He figured out the invisible force was Guilmon. With that in mind, he gave Sceptile another order.
Brendan: Use Aerial Ace!
Sceptile quickly leapt into the air. Guilmon stopped his attack & looked up.
Takato: It can fly? Well, we've got a counter for that.
Before Takato could scan another card, Sceptile came down on Guilmon, slamming him into the ground so hard he knocked up a cloud of debris & made a crater.

Takato: Ah! Guilmon!
Sceptile leapt out of the crater & landed next to Brendan. Takato ran up to the crater with a distressed look on his face, but it changed to a surprised expression as soon as he looked in. Before Brendan could ask what he was surprised about, he heard the sound of an engine revving. Suddenly a red kart leapt out of the crater. In its seat, was Guilmon.

Guilmon drove directly into Sceptile, knocking him off his feet & carrying him away. Brendan was surprised & ran after them, as did Takato. As he drove, Guilmon brought out his katana & started slashing Sceptile with it. Sceptile used Leaf Blade to try and counter the blows, but was having trouble due to his current position. Eventually, Sceptile found his footing & stopped the kart. He grabbed the front of the kart & performed a spinning leap into the air before slamming the kart into the ground, causing it to blow up. Guilmon rolled along the ground, but leapt back to his feet. His face seething with primal rage & katana in hand, Guilmon raised his strength & ran at Sceptile. Sceptile performed several acrobatic flips & spins, avoiding Guilmon's attacks before striking him in the head. Sceptile then focused his energy & delivered a powerful blow to Guilmon's katana, completely shattering it. Guilmon, now angrier than ever, slashed Sceptile in the gut, smacked his face with his tail, then bit down on his throat, bringing him to the ground. Holding him down, Guilmon started to viciously maul Sceptile. At this time, Brendan & Takato showed up.
Takato: Guilmon!
(Stop Music)
Guilmon reverted from his feral instincts then looked to Takato.
Guilmon: Oh, you're back.
Guilmon walked up to Takato as Brendan knelt down next to Sceptile. Sceptile had never been injured like this before. Before his worrying could continue, Sceptile groaned. Brendan jumped to attention. He didn't think Sceptile could survive such a beating. Brendan brought out a potion & sprayed Sceptile. Before the Pokémon got up, Brendan gave him another order.
Takato: C'mon, let's go.
Takato & Guilmon were about to leave, but a bunch of boulders landed in front of them, blocking their path. Brendan stood next to a fully healed Sceptile holding a boulder.
Takato: What the!? But Guilmon beat you!
Brendan smiled.
Brendan: It won't be so easy to beat us, we're not champions for nothing.
Sceptile threw his boulder at Guilmon, landing a direct hit. Guilmon shattered the boulder & shot fireballs at Sceptile. Sceptile suddenly split into several clones as Brendan retreated into the trees. Guilmon was confused. Which one was he supposed to hit? Guilmon gave a distressed call.
Guilmon: Takato!
Takato didn't know what to do either. He couldn't figure out which one was the real one. All the Sceptiles fired Bullet Seed at Guilmon, pelting him with hundreds of seeds from every angle. Takato became really worried, but he came up with a strategy.
Takato: Guilmon, attack all of them!
Guilmon followed. He breathed out a huge stream of flames, burning every Sceptile before him. Most of them disappeared as soon as the flames hit them, but one set on fire. Sceptile screamed in pain as he continued to burn, then he suddenly turned into a small green plush.
Takato: What the?
Guilmon was bombarded from above by large seeds. He looked up to see where they came from, but saw nothing. Then he was hit by a column of grass & a wave of toxic fluid. Guilmon rose to his feet, but he started to feel really worried. He looked around, wondering where Sceptile was.
Takato: Guilmon, what's wrong?
Sceptile emerged from the trees, performing a slide kick. He kicked Guilmon in the legs, knocking him to the ground. Sceptile lifted him by the collar, delivered an electric punch to his gut, chopped him in the throat, & tossed him into the air. When Guilmon came back down, Sceptile delivered a dragon empowered slash that knocked Guilmon into a tree.

Guilmon lay limp at the base of the tree as Brendan emerged from the trees.
Brendan: Great job Sceptile! Now lets take this thing to the professors.
Takato: No! I won't let you take Guilmon! C'mon buddy, we're not finished yet!
Guilmon slowly opened his eyes and weakly rose to his feet, a vicious look in his eyes again. Takato raised his D-Power & a card into the air & slashed.
Takato: Digi-Modify! Digivolution activate!
Guilmon was shrouded in light as he began to grow. Brendan looked behind him & couldn't believe his eyes. It evolved before they could stop it. As the light faded, Guilmon was now revealed to be, Growlmon.
A Large Change of Pace. Growlmon's Turn to Fight![]

Growlmon raised his hand into the air, & brought it down at Sceptile, who just managed to dodge. Growlmon reeled back his fist, shrouding it in blue flames before delivering a punch to Sceptile, sending him sliding back on his feet.
Brendan: Sceptile! Thunder Punch!
Sceptile ran up to Growlmon & delivered an electric punch to his chest, but Growlmon threw him off & began to charge flames in his mouth.
Growlmon: Exhaust Flame!
Growlmon released a torrent of flames from his mouth, which started to engulf the forest. Sceptile managed to grab Brendan and he started to run out of the now burning forest.
Takato: Growlmon, stop! You're burning down the whole forest!
Growlmon wasn't listening, he'd gone feral. He saw Sceptile running out the forest & gave chase.
Takato: Growlmon, where are you going!?!
Takato did his best to follow behind his Digimon, but Growlmon was catching up to his opponents. Sceptile managed to get out of the forest, & found an abandoned amusement park. He ran towards it to find a safe place for Brendan. Growlmon burst from the burning forest & set his sights on the park. He ran right in, barging through the walls & gate. He started looking around for his opponents while Sceptile hid behind a vendor. Brendan started strategizing, then told Sceptile his plan.

Takato managed to catch up to Growlmon.
Takato: Growlmon *pant* you're crazy! *pant*
Growlmon looked at Takato angrily.
Takato: Whoa, buddy, take it easy. It's me, your friend.
Growlmon started to calm down.
Growlmon: Oh, I'm sorry Takato.
Takato looked back at the forest fire, then looked back at Growlmon.
Takato: It'll be okay buddy. Now let's get out of here.
The two started to walk out, but they heard a noise that caught their attention.
???: Scep!
Growlmon quickly turned around to see Sceptile standing on top a ferris wheel. Sceptile thrust out his left hand, stuck out his index finger, & waved it back & forth. Swagger.

Growlmon was suddenly driven to a mad, anger frenzy. He began shooting fireballs at Sceptile, who dodged every one. Growlmon ran up & grabbed the ferris wheel, trying to pull it down.
Takato: Growlmon stop!
Takato's voice was completely drowned out by Growlmon's rage. He tore the wheel from its foundations & it started to tip over, in Growlmon's direction. As he realized what he'd done, Growlmon tried to run away, but Sceptile threw several boulders at him, slowing him down.

The entire ferris wheel fell down onto Growlmon as Sceptile leapt away to Brendan's location. Takato looked in shock at the place where Growlmon had been. He clutched his D-Power in anger & sadness. He knew this was his fault. If he could've just controlled Growlmon better, this wouldn't have happened. It just happened so fast and-
???: Rrrrrrrrr
Takato looked up, tears in his eyes. Could it be? Was Growlmon still okay?
Growlmon: RRrrrrrrr.
Takato looked down at his D-Power, which was starting to glow. He clutched the D-Power.
Takato: If you're still willing to fight...
Takato raised his D-Power to the skies.
Takato: THEN I'LL FIGHT WITH YOU!
Brendan: Wait, what?
Growlmon: Grrrrrr, RRRRRRAAH!
Brendan: It's not dead yet!?

Sceptile pulled a huge tree out of nowhere & swung it at Wargrowlmon. Wargrowlmon slashed the tree in half & thrust his claws forward.
Wargrowlmon: Radiation Blade!
His claws glowed as he charged forward at Sceptile, propelling himself with his vernier. Before Sceptile could escape, Wargrowlmon caught the forest Pokémon in his claws, continuing his charge.
Brendan: Stop! Let him go!
Takato: Keep going Wargrowlmon! We're gonna finish this now!
Wargrowlmon: Right!
The two humans tried to follow behind the behemoth lizard as he barreled through the now completely burned forest. Brendan tried shouting orders & throwing things at the android, but none of it worked. Sceptile did his best to fight against Wargrowlmon & release his grip, but he never flinched. Eventually, Wargrowlmon reached the ocean, hovering over the sea as he continued his charge. Soon an island came into view, the destination of Wargrowlmon's charge.
Wargrowlmon: Say good-bye!
Wargrowlmon slammed into the island, destroying most of it & sending debris into the air & across the ocean.

The two humans stood at the edge of their island, viewing the results of the crash. As the dust cleared, Wargrowlmon came into view, looking perfectly fine. As more dust cleared, Sceptile could be seen laying limp against a remainder of the island.
Brendan: Sceptile, no!
Brendan leapt into the water & tried swimming to Sceptile.
Takato: What are you doing? You'll never make it!
Brendan ignored Takato & kept swimming, but even now he was growing tired. Sceptile saw his trainer struggling & reached out his arm, but he couldn't find the strength to get up. Wargrowlmon put his foot down on Sceptile to keep him down, but Sceptile caught a glimpse of his trainer falling beneath the water. Suddenly, Sceptile felt an adrenaline rush, & threw Wargrowlmon off of him, toppling the behemoth into the sea. Sceptile leapt into the air & dove into the water after Brendan. Wargrowlmon came back up, but everything was otherwise silent......
until a spherical rainbow color was seen rising to the ocean's surface.
Takato: What is that?!
Wargrowlmon: Oooh, pretty.
The sphere shot into the air & came back down on the not shattered island. The sphere shattered, revealing that Brendan & Sceptile were inside, but the forest Pokémon looked different. Sceptile set his trainer next to a tree, then turned to Wargrowlmon. It was Mega Sceptile, & he was ready to show this overgrown lizard how things are done in the forest!
A Mega Monster? Sceptile's Mega Evolution![]

Mega Sceptile used Aerial Ace, leaping towards Wargrowlmon, clearing the distance between them in an instant. He kicked Wargrowlmon in the head then jumped into the air, where he bombarded his opponent with boulders, seeds, needles, stars, leaves, and poison. Wargrowlmon was phased, but the attack enraged him. Activating his vernier, Wargrowlmon flew up towards Mega Sceptile & started slashing at him. Sceptile dodged his attacks & continued to attack him with aerial attacks that kept him in the air. Eventually, Wargrowlmon grabbed Sceptile & threw him into the air before charging his Atomic Blaster. However, Mega Sceptile found himself closer to the sun than usual, & felt charged enough to use Solar Beam. Wargrowlmon fired dual beams from his armored chest as Mega Sceptile breathed a glowing white laser from his mouth. The attacks clashed, & the two fought for power. Mega Sceptile used Work Up several times to increase his strength, & his beam started to overtake Wargrowlmon. Takato saw this & started to worry, but he knew that he & Wargrowlmon couldn't lose. He pulled out several Digi-Modify cards & slashed them all at once.
Takato: Digi-Modify! Strength & Power activate!
Wargrowlmon started to feel Takato's strength alongside the power of the cards, & further increased it through stat boosting moves. Sceptile found himself quickly overwhelmed by Wargrowlmon's sudden increase in strength, & was blasted out of the sky.
Takato: Yeah! We got him!
However, Sceptile couldn't give up, not after what they did to Brendan. Mega Sceptile pushed himself beyond his limit & used Giga Impact, launching himself into the air at Wargrowlmon with full force. Wargrowlmon was caught off guard & took a serious hit to the chest. He was about to blast Sceptile, but the Pokémon leapt at Wargrowlmon's face, taking a firm hold. With all his might, Mega Sceptile spun Wargrowlmon around, & they ascended for a short time before starting a fast descent. Wargrowlmon tried to fight off his opponent, but Mega Sceptile stood strong as they were headed for a powerful collision with Earth.
Takato: Wargrowlmooooooooooooooooooooooooooon!

The two monsters crashed into the ocean & hit the seafloor, creating an enormous tidal wave that easily dwarfed the surrounding islands & went in all directions. Takato looked in horror as the wave came in his direction. Brendan woke from his close shave with death, & saw the tidal wave coming at him, bringing shock to the 12-year old's eyes. Henry, Rika, Rapidmon, Taomon, & all the trainers from earlier had their attention drawn by the tidal wave coming their way.
Rika: Taomon!
The wave crashed.

The wave came down on several innocent bystanders, killed all plant life for miles, and destroyed everything in its path. However, a crater in the now empty ocean revealed two unconscious figures. Mega Sceptile & Wargrowlmon. Suddenly Mega Sceptile opened his eyes & jumped to his feet. Wargrowlmon slowly pulled his large body to its feet. They both climbed outside the crater & surveyed the surrounding area, no other being in sight. Then they both realized...
Wargrowlmon: W-w-where's Takato?
Mega Sceptile looked around. Brendan was nowhere in sight. Not that it mattered. If he were nearby then the wave would've killed him. He looked in Wargrowlmon's direction, seeing the draconic android looking panicked & distressed. Sceptile grimaced. If it weren't for HIM, none of this would've happened. Brendan would still be here, & everything would be normal. But NO, he had to show his ugly mug, get involved, kill that Tropius, & KILL BRENDAN! At the same time, Wargrowlmon looked in Mega Sceptile's direction, seeing the very angry lizard. Wargrowlmon's eyes adopted a feral look as he also thought about what Sceptile had done. If it weren't for this green lizard, they wouldn't HAVE to fight. They wouldn't have destroyed everything, he could've ate bread & played with Takato. But NO, he & his snotty trainer had to show up & start a fight, destroy the ocean, & KILL TAKATO! As both monsters raged in their heads, a dark storm began to brew in the sky. Both monsters stared each other down, filled with hatred, sadness, fear, & anger. They were through messing around. It was time for this guy, to die.

Wargrowlmon charged at Mega Sceptile & brought his claw down on him. Sceptile dodged to the right & used Frustration, putting all his negative feelings into a single blow. He punched Wargrowlmon in the side, making a dent in his armor. Wargrowlmon grabbed Mega Sceptile with his tail & tossed him away before shooting a beam from his chest at him. Mega Sceptile gained his footing & used Protect, creating a barrier to negate Wargrowlmon's attack. The android dragon roared out & ran at Mega Sceptile. The forest Pokémon used Frustration again, uppercutting Wargrowlmon into the air & causing him to land on his back. Mega Sceptile leapt onto Wargrowlmon & continued to use Frustration on Wargrowlmon's face, landing blow after blow on the sorry excuse for a living being. Eventually Sceptile landed a blow that shattered Wargrowlmon's restraining tool, & Wargrowlmon went berserk. He threw Sceptile off of himself, got to his feet, & stared down the green pipsqueak with a bloodied face & a crazed, killing glare. Wargrowlmon roared, & Mega Sceptile was suddenly surrounded by intense hellish flames. Wargrowlmon started firing electric orbs at Sceptile, bombarding him with one after the other. The attack kicked up a lot of dust, but Mega Sceptile was unaffected, this was just what he needed. As the dust cleared, Sceptile used Hyper Beam, firing a huge blue beam from his mouth. Wargrowlmon tried to dodge, but didn't have enough time. The attack blew off one of his vernier, further angering the android. Sceptile used Giga Impact, charging directly into Wargrowlmon & making a large dent in his armor. Wargrowlmon brought his claw down on Mega Sceptile, knocking him to the ground before he started slashing him repeatedly, staining his claws & the ground with his opponent's blood. When he was finished, Mega Sceptile was half dead, bleeding from his mouth, eyes, & open wounds. He couldn't move. Wargrowlmon grabbed the pathetic dying bush's head & turned it to face his. Wargrowlmon spoke in a threatening & chilling voice.

The android dragon was suddenly hit in the back of the head.
???: Let him go!
Wargrowlmon looked behind him to see... no, it couldn't be. Mega Sceptile painfully turned his head to see... was he dreaming? It was a young boy holding an Iron Ball. His left arm hung limp at his side, his clothes are drenched in water, & he's got bruises all over his body. But there was no mistaking it, it was Brendan. Wargrowlmon let go of Sceptile's head & turned towards the trainer.
Wargrowlmon: Why are you still alive?! You're supposed to be DEAD!
Brendan: I can't die, not as long as Sceptile is willing to fight! We're strong together, & no one, not even you, can stop us!
Wargrowlmon shuddered. That's what Takato would've said if he were still here. While he was distracted, Mega Sceptile rushed past Wargrowlmon & embraced Brendan, tears running down his bloodied face.
Brendan: Sceptile, this is getting really dangerous, are you sure you want to keep going?
Sceptile was a little surprised. He'd never been given that option before. The forest Pokémon looked at his wounds. This was the most pain he'd ever experienced in his life. He looked out at the scenery. Destruction as far as the eye could see. He wanted to stop fighting, he wanted to escape this monster, to get Brendan to safety, he really did. But...
Mega Sceptile: Scep, sceptile. Scep scep-tile. Sceptile sceptile, scep-tile (Brendan, if we stop now, this monster will continue to wreak its destruction. We're the only ones who can stop him now, for the sake of everyone still alive).
Brendan: You're right, if we don't stop him, no one else will.
Brendan & Mega Sceptile faced Wargrowlmon, who was now writhing where he stood. The two were a little surprised, what was he doing?
Wargrowlmon: Why did you have to live?
Brendan: Huh?
Wargrowlmon: Why did Takato have to die? How can you live & not him?! Why me?! Why you!? WHY!? WHY?! WHYYYYYYY?!?!
Wargrowlmon's conflicting emotions & excess power were driving him mad! He couldn't stand it! He clutched his head, crying & fuming, raging & grieving. His data started to distort, his body couldn't handle the pressure. As all this happened, his Digital Hazard symbol started to flash red.
Brendan: He's weak! We've gotta finish him now!
Mega Sceptile: Scep!
Mega Sceptile ran at Wargrowlmon, but a sudden blast of energy knocked him back. Wargrowlmon roared into the air as lightning crackled through the now red sky. A spiral of flames descended from the sky & surrounded Wargrowlmon. As the flames dispersed, Wargrowlmon looked VERY different. He was now, Megidramon.
A Legendary Evil Dragon! Megidramon Wants Revenge![]
Brendan & Mega Sceptile looked in horror at the mighty dragon before them. However, high above them, was a Pidove with a camera around its neck. This was Rowan's Pidove, used to watch over the fight.
Rowan: Oh no.
Meanwhile...
Professor Birch was helping Officer Jenny to evacuate everyone from Hoenn. That wave killed a lot of people, & who knew what else could happen? Birch got a call on his phone, it was Professor Rowan.
Rowan: Birch! Confronting that creature was a mistake! It's evolved 3 times already, & things are only getting worse!
Birch: I know, that's why we're evacuating everyone.
Rowan: That's just the thing, Brendan is still out there!
Birch's heart dropped.
Birch: Brendan?
Birch tried to run out after his son, but Jenny grabbed him by the coat.
Jenny: You can't go out there! You'll be killed!
Birch: But my son, Brendan, I have to help him!
Jenny: You can't! You'd both die!
Birch: No, you can't keep me here! BREEEEEEENDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brendan: I-it evolved again.
Megidramon rushed at the duo. Mega Sceptile pulled a giant tree out of nowhere to block the attack, but Megidramon tore right through it with his claw & smacked them both away with his tail. Megidramon slowly moved towards them, distant terrain shifting from Megidramon's energy. Brendan looked up at Megidramon worried, but Mega Sceptile stood up strong, ready to face his foe. Brendan dismissed his fear & stood up.
Brendan: Alright Sceptile, we're the only ones who can do this! It's all or nothing!
Mega Sceptile: Sceeeeep-TILE!
The duo pulled back their fist, stepped forward, & punched in sync.
Brendan: LET'S GO!
Mega Sceptile: TILE!
Mega Sceptile was suddenly shrouded in a spiral of leaves. As the leaves died down, but didn't go away, Mega Sceptile could be seen with slightly different colors & design. Trainer & monster had combined their power to form, Mega Brendan Sceptile.

Mega Brendan Sceptile: SCEPTILE!
Sceptile ran at Megidramon & Megidramon flew at Sceptile. Megidramon charged his claws with darkness & slashed at Sceptile. Sceptile jumped & avoided the slash, delivering a strong kick to Megidramon's head. Megidramon reeled back from the force, but threw his head back forward, slamming into Sceptile & sending him away. Sceptile landed on his feet & started rapid firing hundreds of seeds at Megidramon. The evil dragon charged through the seeds, but found himself also being hit with hundreds of sharp leaves. He ignored the pain & kept going, only to be blasted by two large lasers, one after the other. When Megidramon finally reached Sceptile, he was smacked by a giant tree. Megidramon was furious. He began to go berserk, breathing flames in every direction as the broken terrain started to reach the fighters. Sceptile jumped at Megidramon & slashed him with his leaf blades. Megidramon viciously grabbed Sceptile in his mouth & threw him at a piece of rising terrain. Sceptile landed on the wall of terrain & jumped back at Megidramon, delivering a powerful electric punch to his face. Megidramon started breathing fire & shooting napalm at Sceptile, setting the ground on fire & spreading magma across the battlefield. Sceptile couldn't stay on the ground, so he leapt onto Megidramon's back. Megidramon tried to shake him off, but Sceptile held strong & started attacking Megidramon from behind. Megidramon took to the sky, flying erratically to shake off his foe. Sceptile continued to hold on as he was struck by lightning several times. Sceptile continued to attack, dealing more & more damage with every attack. Megidramon took a sudden turn & entered a dive bomb towards the ground. Sceptile jumped off before the crash as Megidramon hit the ground, fracturing the earth beneath him. Sceptile tossed some boulders onto the ground for him to stand on to avoid the flames. He looked where Megidramon was, hoping he finished himself off. He didn't. Megidramon emerged from the ground & started slashing Sceptile. Sceptile did his best to block & dodge, but he grew weak as the effects of poison started to enter his body. Megidramon smacked Sceptile away with his tail, knocking him to where Brendan stood. Sceptile got back to his feet, but Megidramon loomed before them, slowly floating in their direction. His mouth filled with flames, he was ready to end the lives of these putrid hooligans, when suddenly-
???: Megidramon!
(Stop Music)
Megidramon suddenly coughed up his flames like barf, then took a glance behind him. There was a flying white dome containing his friends. Henry, Rika, Rapidmon, Taomon, and... and... Megidramon spoke in his normal voice.
Megidramon: Ta-ka-to?
Megidramon couldn't believe his eyes. There was Takato, safe, & alive. A wave of calm washed over Megidramon, it was like all the stress in the world had been lifted from his heavy shoulders. The storm above subsided, & the earth stopped breaking. It was so strange being a creature of destruction, but feeling so happy. Too happy. Megidramon was suddenly stabbed by a giant tree wrapped in vines that formed a sharp point at the end. It punctured his chrome digizoid body & pierced through his back. Megidramon cried out as Takato called his name.
Takato: MEGIIDRAMOOOOOOOOOON!!!
Sceptile pulled his giant weapon out of Megidramon, & the evil dragon fell to the ground, blood now leaking from his mouth. Takato leapt out of Taomon's dome & knelt at Megidramon's side.
Takato: No, buddy. How could I let this happen?
Takato cried on his fallen friend. Brendan was a bit reluctant. Seeing Takato like this made him feel bad for having to kill this, Megidramon, whatever it was, but it was for the greater good. Brendan gave a command, but not so much a command as an execution since Sceptile knew what he was thinking.
Brendan: Sceptile, finish it with Hyper Beam.
Mega Brendan Sceptile: Sceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep-TILLLLLLE!
Trainer & monster moved in sync as Sceptile fired a huge energy blast at Megidramon. Takato slowly turned to the attack. He didn't care that he was about to die, life felt meaningless without Guilmon.... Was this what Jeri felt like when Leomon died?
The blast was suddenly deflected by Megidramon's tail, redirecting the blast in DBZ fashion. Takato gasped as Megidramon stood, a gaping hole still in his chest.
Takato: M-Megidramon! Are you, okay?
Megidramon: It doesn't matter! Takato, we never let anything stop us! No matter how hard, no matter how tough the opponent!
Sceptile started throwing more attacks at Megidramon, but he ignored all the wounds that were made as he continued to speak.
Megidramon: Even when we're discouraged, & we start to doubt ourselves, we always come out on top! Right!?
Takato: Yeah, right! What am I thinking?! We won't lose, not as long as one of us is willing to fight! We're strong together, & no one, not even they, can stop us!
That's just what Megidramon wanted to hear. He turned to Sceptile & shattered an oncoming boulder.
Takato: Alright Megidramon, it's time to show these two what we're really made of!
Megidramon: RIGHT!
Takato & Megidramon ran at the Pokémon & his trainer, who tried using Hyper Beam again. The scene enters slow motion as, right before Takato & Megidramon are hit, they're shrouded in a bright light. The scene goes back to regular speed as the beam makes contact with the light, making the beam spread out & blast in several other directions. Brendan & Sceptile are confused. As the light dissipates, they find out what just happened. A shield sitting on the ground had blocked the attack. The shield came up from the ground & revealed a large being clad in white armor. This was none other, than Gallantmon.
A Holy Knight Appears! Gallantmon Wants Justice![]
Brendan had come to more or less expect this type of thing, but he was confused as to where Takato had gone.
Gallantmon: We are the mighty knight Gallantmon. You've committed many crimes against us, & we will make sure you pay in full for what you have done.
Brendan heard the knight's voice. Somehow, some way, those two had combined.
Brendan: Crimes!? You're the ones who started all this! If anyone's gonna pay, it'll be you two!
Gallantmon: So be it.
Gallantmon got into a stance. One foot behind him, one foot in front. He held his shield up in front of him, & stuck out his lance next to it. Sceptile lit up all four of his leaf blades, crossed his arms, & knelt down. Then, both monsters charged.

The two collided, stopping as soon as they hit each other. Gallantmon smacked Sceptile away with his shield then blasted him with electricity from the holy lance Gram. Sceptile absorbed the electricity then used Dragon Pulse, firing a a blast of energy from his mouth.
Gallantmon; Takato: He absorbed the electricity!
Gallantmon; Guilmon: I think he did that earlier while you were gone. It makes him stronger!
Gallantmon; Takato: Guess we can't use that anymore.
Gallantmon leapt over a ball of energy from Sceptile before aiming his lance again.
Gallantmon; Takato: But we've got other moves up our sleeve!
Gallantmon fired a blast of energy at Sceptile, who leapt over it & attacked Gallantmon in the air, charging into his face head on. Gallantmon was knocked to the ground, but got right back up. Sceptile sent a barrage of attacks at Gallantmon, who blocked with his shield. As he blocked, he charged energy in the shield.
Gallantmon: Shield of the Just!
An enormous blast of energy was sent out of the shield, blasting Sceptile with a torrent of light. However, Sceptile survived the blast, it only seemed to make him angrier. Sceptile ran at Gallantmon & started pounding his shield with Frustration, once again putting all his negative energy into his punches. With a well timed shield bash, Gallantmon countered Sceptile's onslaught, knocking him back with all the force he was just using. This angered Sceptile even further, but with their minds linked, Brendan gave Sceptile a strategy. Sceptile used Double Team, creating several clones of himself.
Gallantmon: Not this again.
Gallantmon formed a dome of light around himself, destroying all the fake Sceptiles. The knight was suddenly hit with a wave of toxins, poisoning him. He was then buried under several boulders. Then a bunch of seeds hit his face, & he started to feel worried. Sceptile came down in front of him & gave a loud Screech that lowered Gallantmon's defense. He then started telling Gallantmon weird secrets that made him feel weaker for some reason. Sceptile then stepped back & used a bunch of moves to increase his stats before charging a Hyper Beam. Gallantmon, in his worried state, started to panic. What was he gonna do? He couldn't do anything in this state! Gallantmon squirmed around in his confines as Sceptile continued to charge. Eventually, Gallantmon managed to free his shield, right when Sceptile fired his beam.
Gallantmon: AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!
Gallantmon screamed as he fired a blast of energy from his shield, stopping Sceptile's attack in its tracks. The collision blew away the rocks around Gallantmon, & he started to feel stronger. With his weaknesses having passed, Gallantmon put all his strength into the blast, overpowering Sceptile & incinerating his body.
Gallantmon; Takato: Yeah, we got him!
Gallantmon; Guilmon: Actually, I don't think we did.
Gallantmon; Takato: Huh?
In place of Sceptile was a small green doll.
Gallantmon; Takato: He used the same strategy as last time!
???: Not exactly.
Gallantmon turned around to see Brendan standing next to Sceptile.
Brendan: We've got one more trick this time!
Mega Brendan Sceptile: Sceptile!
Sceptile summoned vines from the ground, wrapping himself in so much that it formed a giant Sceptile of vines around him. He used Laser Focus, which strengthened his next move. Blue & green energy ran through the vines of Sceptile's construct as it pulled the BIGGEST, TREE, EVER, out of the ground. The tree was converted to energy through the power of Hyper Beam & Solar Beam, basically forming a giant lightsaber.
Gallantmon: What the?
Sceptile began to bring down the tree.
Gallantmon; Guilmon: Takato what do we do?
Gallantmon; Takato: Um, uh.
The tree was getting closer. Gallantmon looked down nervously, then saw his shield.
Gallantmon; Takato: Oh, right!
(Stop Music)
Gallantmon brought up his shield just in time, but the tree hit him with ridiculous force. Gallantmon was smashed through the ground as an ear piercing BOOM was heard across the planet. Soon the planet began to split in two, the force of Sceptile's attack breaking it in half.
Brendan: Guh!? What have we done!?
Mega Brendan Sceptile: Scep-tile (At least we finally got him).
Brendan: *sigh* You're right. Let's go get Groudon from the PC, if anyone can fix this, it's him.
The two began to walk away as a red blur crossed the sky.
Meanwhile...
Gallantmon lay unconscious in space between the two halves of Earth, several large dents in his armor. He suddenly woke up, noticing his predicament.
Gallantmon; Takato: Gah, we gotta get back on land!
Gallantmon; Guilmon: We can't Takato, we're too weak.
Gallantmon; Takato: No! It can't end like this!
???: Do not worry friends.
Gallantmon looked up to see a red figure headed in his direction.
Gallantmon: Grani? Is that you?
Grani: Indeed. I sensed your peril, & have come to assist. You will need my power to go on. Please, friends, accept my power.
Gallantmon: Thank you, Grani.
Grani flew into Gallantmon, creating a burst of light.
Back with Brendan...
Brendan & Sceptile were walking through the burned forest that'd been washed away by the tidal wave. That creature had caused so much damage, but it was finally gone. Brendan suddenly heard a noise & looked behind him. He saw an orb of light come down from the sky & land on the ground not far from the trainer. The light cleared, revealing a red armored knight with ten wings. Gallantmon Crimson Mode. The knight looked in Brendan's direction & pulled out a sword & lance.
Gallantmon Crimson Mode: Your CRIMES have gone on long enough! This ends NOW!
Brendan: You're still ALIVE!?!
Gallantmon Crimson Mode: WE may be, but soon YOU won't!
Brendan: Urrgh! That's the last STRAW! I broke the planet trying to kill you & yet YOU LIVE ON! This is YOUR FAULT, & I'm gonna make sure YOU pay for YOUR crimes! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Mega Brendan Sceptile: TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLE!!!!!!!

A Final Stand! Mega Brendan Sceptile VS Gallantmon Crimson Mode![]
Gallantmon swung his sword, cutting off the arm of Sceptile's construct (yeah, he still has it). He then kicked Sceptile into the air & fired several balls of light at him. Sceptile regrew his lost arm & slashed the balls of light apart with his leaf blades. As Sceptile fell down towards Gallantmon, he started firing giant seeds from his mouth at his opponent. Gallantmon used several fire moves to destroy the seeds before blasting Sceptile with flames. Sceptile was knocked onto his back & now had several burns & small fires all over his body.
Gallantmon Crimson Mode: Fire, that's his weakness! Luckily we have plenty of that!
Sceptile was suddenly surrounded by a wall of fire before being blasted by a storm of flames. He was then hit from underneath by a pillar of flames, knocking him into the air. While Sceptile was airborne, Gallantmon set the ground on fire, leaving Sceptile to a painful landing. Gallantmon persisted, & started raining lava from the sky. Things were getting hot for Sceptile, as he was now completely on fire. However, the heat was making it harder for Gallantmon to hold his Crimson form. Sceptile was persistent to win, he drew his leaf blades which were now on fire & ran at Gallantmon. The two monsters started to clash blades against each other, creating a burst of flames with every blow. Gallantmon was about to lose his form, so he blasted Sceptile with a laser to end their clash.
Gallantmon Crimson Mode; Takato: It's time to go all or nothing Guilmon. Let's finish this!
Gallantmon Crimson Mode: Crimson Light!
Gallantmon threw his lance into the air, creating a rift in space. The rift started sucking up all nearby objects at the molecular level, pulling objects apart one cell at a time, including the fire. Sceptile saw the danger & ran to Brendan, pulling him into his large construct. The rift started to take effect on Sceptile, pulling apart his construct. Sceptile used Protect to form a force field, but it was absorbed. He used it again, once again absorbed. He tried again, but it failed. His vines were being pulled into the rift. However, the rift soon closed, & Sceptile turned to Gallantmon.
(Stop Music)
He'd reverted from his Crimson Mode & was now regular Gallantmon, sitting on his knees, tired from how taxing his Crimson Mode had been. Brendan spoke calmly.
Brendan: This is it Sceptile, we can finally finish him off.
Sceptile walked up to Gallantmon, ready to end this fight, but as soon as he approached him, he was stabbed through the torso by Gallantmon. Unbeknownst to Gallantmon however, was that he'd also just stabbed Brendan through the chest. Brendan gasped in surprise & pain.
Brendan: GAH!
Gallantmon: We're, not, finished, yet.
Gallantmon quickly turned his head up to Sceptile.
Gallantmon: BUT YOU ARE!
(Continue Music)
Gallantmon put all his remaining energy into one leap that sent him flying off the planet & created a crater where he stood. They accelerated at such high speeds, that they warped to another dimension.
Finally the End! A Dimension Hopping Finisher![]
Dark Gaia & Godzilla are seen fighting in the planet's core, when the three combatants shoot by, cutting both kaiju in half before warping again.
Landia & Smaug are seen fighting on Halcandra, but the combatants strike Landia, killing her instantly.
Smaug: Hah! I knew you couldn't stand against me.
HR-D3 comes up behind Smaug right before the three combatants warp again.
As Beedrill & Flymon are fighting, the combatants shoot by, destroying the whole forest before warping again.
Flymon: ... Now what?
Biollante & Petey Piranha are seen doing battle near a city, but the combatants fly by so fast, that they're both pitched into space before the combatants warp again.
Rosalina is about to block an attack from Magolor when the combatants crash into her, shattering her forcefield & crashing into both fighters. Before the combatants warped again, they crashed into the core of the Comet Observatory, causing a big bang.
Magolor & Rosalina: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Okuwamon is seen charging towards Earth like an asteroid while Mega Beedrill fights back. However, the three combatants charge right into the center of their clash, creating an enormous explosion that kills both bugs before they warp again.
Zoroark & Blackout are locked in a heated battle, but the combatants hit the Sun, destroying it & shrouding the planet in darkness. The two fighters were surprised, but they continued fighting heedless as the combatants warped again.
Magolor Soul is flying towards Asgore's castle, but the combatants fly past him, crashing into the castle & breaking the barrier before warping again.
Asgore: ... What!?
Pangoro & Pandamon are seen fighting in Lumiose City, when the three combatants crash into a distant mountain so hard that the pieces are thrown at the two pandas, burying them & the whole city under the rubble as they warp again.
Antylamon knocked Mega Lopunny into the air & was about to finish her off when the combatants flew straight into Zhuqiaomon's keep, completely destroying it. Antylamon looked in shock at the destruction as Mega Lopunny fell to the ground & the combatants warped again.
Giant Bowser was about to finish off Zavok, when the three combatants flew by & lopped his head off before warping again.
Zavok: Was I, afraid? How could I be so weak?
The three combatants were about to hit Heckyl & Magneto, but they dodged them at the last second as they plowed through a mountain & warped away.
Heckyl: You don't think silly tricks like that will work on me do you?
Magneto: I was about to ask you the same thing.
Both combatants then realized that the attack came from neither of them.
The three combatants flew through a regular looking room in a regular looking house. Everything went slow-mo as they looked & saw a young man typing at a laptop. He looked up at them.
Vrokorta: Oh, don't mind me.
The three combatants warped out.
FINALLY, Gallantmon, Brendan, & Mega Brendan Sceptile appeared back in their world, albeit in space. They plowed through comets & stars before their planet came back into sight. Gallantmon looked toward his opponents & spoke.
Gallantmon: Any last words?
Brendan choked on some blood & spoke weakly.
Brendan: I just wanted to help everyone.
Gallantmon: WHAT!?
(Stop Music)
The three combatants collided with one half of Earth, hitting it so hard that they created an explosion that destroyed both halves of Earth before expanding outward & destroying the rest of the universe.

Gallantmon is seen floating in space, seeing all the destruction they'd caused.
Gallantmon; Takato: Guilmon, what have we done?
Gallantmon; Guilmon: The universe, it's all gone.
Then, a white being appeared behind them. Gallantmon turned around to see Arceus floating before him.
Arceus: WHAT have you DONE!?
Gallantmon: Please, forgive us, we were acting in self defense.
Arceus: SELF DEFENSE!? YOU DESTROYED AN ENTIRE UNIVERSE!
Gallantmon looked down sadly.
Gallantmon: We're sorry.
Arceus: Ugh.
Gallantmon: What are you gonna do to us?
Arceus: ... I will allow you ONE, MORE, CHANCE. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a universe to repair.
Arceus emitted a flash of light as 16 different colored plates surrounded him. As the light grew stronger, Gallantmon was able to make out what looked like... 1,000 arms? Then the universe shifted...

Takato & Guilmon woke up laying in a field. When he woke up, Takato saw Brendan.
Takato: Gah!
Takato quickly climbed to his feet & held out his D-Power.
Brendan: Whoa, wait! I was just trying to wake you up so I could ask you about your Pokémon.
Takato looked down at Guilmon, who stood next to him aggressively.
Takato: You mean Guilmon?
Brendan: Guilmon, that's a brand new species! I have so many questions!
Takato started to feel odd. This didn't look like an enemy, this looked like, a friend.
Guilmon's stomach rumbled.
Guilmon: Do you have any bread?
Brendan: IT CAN TALK?
Takato decided to give Brendan a second chance.
Results[]
Boomstick: Heh, dramatic much?
Vrokorta: It's my season finale, I wanted it that way.
Wiz: I think we've made the readers wait long enough, let's deliver our outcome.
Vrokorta: First was Sceptile vs Guilmon. Under regular circumstances, Sceptile would've stomped in this fight, however, both characters were composite, so stats were way higher than normal.
Boomstick: There's something we have to clear up first. Some may think that Sceptile is at least Low Multiversal & has immeasurable speed because he defeated Darkrai. However, there's no proof that either of the Darkrai he defeated were the same ones with Multiversal or immeasurable feats, so we couldn't scale him to those. However, he was able to fight Shadow Mewtwo, who has feats that put him at Multi-Solar System level. Guilmon was able to fight ultimate level Digimon & can one shot them with the help of Takato's cards. Ultimate level Digimon have several feats & statements that put them anywhere from Large Star level to Multi-Solar System level, so this made them potentially even.
Wiz: However, Sceptile could do all of this in his base form, while Guilmon needs Digi-Modifies, so Sceptile takes this advantage, but we're not done yet. Next is speed. Sceptile can react to light based attacks. At best, this would put Sceptile at FTL speeds. However, scaling Guilmon to ultimates once again would make him faster. Agunimon, a particularly powerful Digimon comparable to champion level Digimon was also able to dodge a beam of light. Seeing as Champion Digimon<Agunimon<Ultimate level Digimon, this would make Guilmon "at least" FTL, & thus faster.
Vrokorta: Next is arsenal. Guilmon had a good arsenal, made even better by Takato's cards. However, Sceptile outclassed him by a landslide. He simply has more variety & versatility in his moveset.
Boomstick: Now for intelligence. In terms of the monsters, Guilmon was clearly more intelligent. He may be younger, but Digimon in general are usually smarter than Pokémon. Think about it like this, Sceptile's a wild animal that can understand humans, Guilmon shows more human levels of intelligence, albeit childish ones, but more human all the same. He's also smart enough to drive a kart & defeat opponents more experienced than himself. As for Brendan & Takato, Brendan doesn't really show any strategies. Meanwhile, Takato has learned to use Digi Modify Cards to help Guilmon at crucial moments, using the right card at the right time to beat his opponent.
Wiz: Something important to note about this fight is that Sceptile is weak against Fire, Ice, & Flying type attacks, all of which were things Guilmon had access to, whether through his own abilities, or through Digi-Modifies.
Vrokorta: For experience, I'm gonna have to go with Takato & Guilmon. Sure, they often rely on the help of their friends to win battles, but Brendan similarly is more used to using a team of six Pokémon as a opposed to just one. What gave the Digimon team the edge was the sheer variety of foes & challenges faced. Brendan & Sceptile have only ever fought Pokémon, usually for fun or research. Takato & Guilmon have had to fight for their lives on several occasions, always in different places, always against different opponents.
Boomstick: It's a close call, but Guilmon holds the most advantages, & is likely to pull out the win.
Wiz: And that doesn't account for Growlmon, which vastly augments his power & retains all his advantages.
Vrokorta: Next was Mega Sceptile vs Wargrowlmon. Mega evolution does increase Sceptile's stats by quite a bit, however, Wargrowlmon's stats are augmented even further than that. Wargrowlmon could take hits from Beelzemon & Zhuqiaomon. Beelzemon is a mega level Digimon, making him superior to Vademon, an ultimate level Digimon who could control a galaxy sized dimension, and Beelzemon was even stronger than a regular mega because he absorbed the data of several Digimon before he fought Wargrowlmon. Zhuqiaomon is capable of creating entire layers of the Digital World alongside the other Sovereigns, & Wargrowlmon survived an attack from him just fine. It's safe to say Wargrowlmon takes strength & durability on top of his other advantages.
Boomstick: Sure, Sceptile loses his weakness to Fire, but he's still vulnerable to Flying, Dragon, & Poison attacks, all of which Wargrowlmon had access too, albeit he only gets poison when he digivolves into Megidramon. All these stats taken together gave Wargrowlmon an easy victory, & he only got stronger from there.
Wiz: Megidramon threatened to destroy the whole Digital World, which is infinite, & Gallantmon's stronger than him, & Gallantmon Crimson Mode's even stronger. It didn't help that Sceptile had no defense against atomic attacks from Wargrowlmon or Crimson Mode.
Vrokorta: Even though Crimson Mode was temporary, we've already explained how Wargrowlmon alone would win, so he wouldn't even need it.
Boomstick: Looks like Brendan, met his Brend"END". When we asked Takato if the Pokémon team would win, he said "Taka'NO'". I guess Sceptile met a burning, "Crimson" death.
Vrokorta: The winners are, Takato & Guilmon!

Brendan: I didn't want to have to do this, but you leave me no choice!
Brendan threw out two Pokeballs, releasing Groudon & Kyogre.
*Gallantmon gets overwhelmed*
Gallantmon; Guilmon: Ah, this isn't fair, it's three on one!
Groudon & Kyogre were suddenly blasted by a giant blue blast.
???: Make that three against two.
Gallantmon turned to the voice & saw Grani coming.
Grani: I sensed you needed my assistance, so I have arrived.
Gallantmon: Thanks Grani!
Gallantmon leapt onto his steed's back & they took flight.
Gallantmon: With you on our side, these guys don't stand a chance!

Gallantmon & Grani hit the ground hard as Groudon & Kyogre stand over them.
Grani: Gallantmon, we are not strong enough to defeat him in our current state, you need my power.
Gallantmon: But Grani, that would mean-
Grani: It is better that you win this fight, than both our lives end.
Grani fused with Gallantmon in a brilliant show of light. They had now become Gallantmon Crimson Mode.
Gallantmon Crimson Mode: Thank you Grani, your sacrifice will not be in vain.
Groudon & Kyogre charged at Gallantmon, but the Crimson knight brought out his weapons & leapt at the two legendaries. He slashed with both blades, cutting both legendaries in half. Brendan gasped as Gallantmon landed.
Brendan: You killed them!
Gallantmon Crimson Mode: And you're next!
- These scenes were deleted because Vrokorta couldn't find a way to incorporate them to his satisfaction.

???: Pikachu, use thunderbolt!
Megidramon was blasted by a bolt of electricity from behind. He looked behind him & saw Ash Ketchum alongside Pikachu and all his other Pokémon.
Ash: You came to the wrong neighborhood.
Megidramon: Bitch please
Megidramon flicked his tail in their direction, creating a blast that blew their molecules across the cosmos. Megidramon turned back to Brendan & Mega Sceptile, both of whom had a mortified look on their face.
Sceptile began to bring down the tree.
Gallantmon; Guilmon: Takato what do we do?
Viewer/Reader: Just dodge it.
Gallantmon; Takato: Um, uh.
Viewer/Reader: Dude, just dodge it!
The tree was getting closer.
Viewer/Reader: It's getting closer! Just dodge it!
Gallantmon looked down nervously, then saw his shield.
Gallantmon; Takato: Oh, right!
Viewer/Reader: Don't block it, dodge it!
Gallantmon brought up his shield just in time, but the tree hit him with ridiculous force.
Viewer/Reader: Forget this crap!
Gallantmon: Any last words?
Brendan: I just wanted to help everyone.
Jontron: WUT!?
Gallantmon: What are you gonna do to us?
Arceus: Do to you? I ain't mess'n with that crap!

- Vrokorta's rooting for Guilmon cause he prefers Digimon.
- This is the 6th battle Vrokorta's adopted.
- There are several cameos in this death battle: Professor Birch, Officer Jenny, Professor Oak, Proffesor Rowan, Professor Kukui, Random Pokémon Trainer, Buneary, Henry, Rika, Rapidmon, & Taomon. There were many more cameos during the battle's final act, but they're too many to list.
- The Random Pokémon Trainer & his Buneary are a reference to one of my previous fights, Lopmon vs Buneary.
- Almost all the cameos of the battle's final act are from Vrokorta's previous Death Battles.
- The random Pokémon Takato encounters before he gets surrounded were decided on using a random Pokémon generator.
- Both Takato & Brendan are 12 years old.
- Vrokorta considered including Groudon & Kyogre in the fight (as seen in the Deleted Scenes), but couldn't find a good way to include them.
- Originally, Vrokorta didn't pay much attention to seasons in his Death Battles. However, after seeing how big a DB this would be, and wanting to have a winner/loser Battle Royale, he decided that this would be his season 1 finale.
- Originally, Vrokorta was going to have both combatants be wild/without trainers. However, Dante Hotspur showed interest in a trainer battle, so Vrokorta decided to expand the DB with full movesets, both trainers, & all evolutions (Minus Sceptile's weaker forms).
- Quite a good suggestion this was, as this battle became Vrokorta's biggest fight as of 7/29/2018.
- Vrokorta also enjoyed shoehorning unnecessary drama into the fight :}.
