The Black Panther is a superhero from Marvel Comics, king of Wakanda, and a prominent member of the Avengers. He previously fought Batman in the 88th episode of Death Battle, Black Panther VS Batman. He later fought against Wolverine in One Minute Melee.

Death Battle History[]

Black Panther's Death Battle debut was against Bat-Man, in Batman VS Black Panther where he won after digging his claws deep into the Bat's Chest. And similarly in Batman Beyond vs Black Panther. BP has a long history of abandoned Death battles, some included Green Arrow vs Black Panther, Black Panther vs Hawkman, and Lance (VainGlory) vs Black Panther. Back to some of the battles he won, there's also Darth Maul vs Black Panther, where BP went full savage by breaking the site's lightsaber, his arm, and then tearing his jaw off. And in Indoraptor vs Black Panther, he suffered his first loss, being fully crushed under the foot of the dino. So far, he has a 3-1 win-loss.

He shook off this loss in Knuckles vs Black Panther, by reducing his opponent to nothing more than a bloody, dismembered puddle. And the hunter became the hunted in Black Panther vs Predator, when Predator just decided to blow himself up, handing the win to Black Panther. His battle record is now an amazing 5-1.

In Black Panther VS Shao Kahn, the mortal combat character was decapitated by a slashing uppercut from our good friend T'Challa. And in the epic Black Panther vs The Scout. Black Panther decapitated another fighter. Placing his record at 7-1. His most recent battle was against the mighty morphin Power ranger in Zack Taylor VS Black Panther. The battle ended in suffer for the power ranger, when his throat was torn open. All of this has taught us that Black Panther has an amazing 88% win rate, only losing to the Indoraptor, and brutally killing everyone else that stood in his way.

History[]

T'Challa is the son of T'Chaka, king of the technologically advanced and isolated African country of Wakanda. T'Challa is the heir to the mantle of the Black Panther, Wakanda's protector. While trained since childhood to succeed his father, T'Challa grew into a man with a highly active mind and, despite T'Chaka's best efforts, a great dislike for politics. But T'Challa's life changed when T'Chaka, deciding to open Wakanda to the rest of the world, was assassinated during a bombing attack caused by Ulysses Klaw. Once of age to take the Black Panther mantle, T'Challa continues his father's work and protect the Wakanda from enemies both interior and foreign.

Trivia[]

  • Black Panther's name did not originate from the Black Panther movement; the superhero debuted 3 months before the Civil Rights movement went public. To avoid confusion, the hero was renamed Black Leopard; but only for a year when fan backlash demanded his original name back.
