Delphox is the final evolution of Fennekin, the fire starter for gen 6 of Pokémon. Delphox's secondary typing is psychic. Delphox's name is based off of a Delphic oracle and, well, a fox. It's Pokèdex number is 655 and its appearance is similar to that of a witch. It has been said in Delphox's Pokèdex entry that by staring into the flame of its wand it can go bli- I mean see into the future
Delphox has appeared in the anime in the episode: 'Battling with elegance and a big smile!' Where it fought Serena's Fennekin/ Braixen under the trainer Aria. It also made a appearance in 'Diancie and the death cocoon'.

Delphox as a fire and psychic type pokèmon is super-effective against grass, bug, steel, ice, poison and fighting types. It is weak to ground, ghost, dark, rock and of course water.
Delphox is extremely strong in the special side of the stats but is very weak in the psychical side of the stats. Speed-wise Delphox is pretty fast but it doesn't have very impressive hit points (hp). Being a special attacker, it gets moves like flamethrower, mystical fire, blast burn, hyper beam, future sight, psychic and psyshock.
Delphox's can be very tricky pokèmon to work against. With moves like trick room, hypnosis, wish, howl, toxic, rest and magic coat; it can turn the tides of battle very fast. This can make facing a Delphox extremely difficult.
Delphox gets the ability blaze, making it stronger with fire type moves when low on health. As a hidden ability Delphox gets magician which steals a pokèmon's item when hit by Delphox.
