Proto Man vs E-123 Omega is a What-If? episode of Death Battle by Animegx43, featuring Proto Man from the Mega Man series and E-123 Omega from the Sonic The Hedgehog series in a battle of abandoned red robots.

The original robot master and the final of the E-Series aim to prove who is superior.
Interlude[]
Wiz: Robots can not harm humans, must obey humans, and preserve their own lives without contradicting the above. These are the three rules of robotics that engineers should aim for when creating artificial intelligence.
Boomstick: Kind of funny how some of the most brilliant scientists in all of video games are so terrible at following those rules. Not as bad as Wiz is though.
Wiz: Proto Man, Dr. Light's original robot master, and older brother of Mega Man.
Boomstick: And Omega, Dr. Eggman's final E-100 robot, and the muscle of Team Dark. He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win...a Death Battle.
Proto Man makes a big bang in DEATH BATTLE[]
Wiz: In the year 20--HACHOO!
Boomstick: Gesundheit.
Wiz: Thank you...Doctor Thomas Light's life work in the world of robotics would go on to forever change the world, being responsible for many robots with individual thinking. The most notable of them all is the Blue Bomber himself, Mega Man.
Boomstick: And he went on to make a bunch of other robots that kept going evil and trying to take over the world. All of the robots literal ass-kicking machines, but not everything comes out perfect on the first attempt. Even Mega Man took two attempts to get exactly right.
Wiz: Appropriately named Proto Man...well, in the English release that is...he was built to be the world's first self-aware robot, and despite being a mere prototype, he surpassed nearly all of Dr. Light's expectations. Unfortunately, there was one fetal flaw. Arguably two.
Boomstick: Yeah, Proto Man's solar powered battery was just crappy, and he was doomed to shut down. Dr. Santa would've fixed it, but his robot, big shock, was self-aware, and didn't trust that his creator wouldn't mess with his mind altogether.

Wiz: Doubting his creator, Proto Man left Dr. Light behind to preserve his sense of self, despite having a flawed energy core, and when the core ran out of energy and left him for dead, he happened upon an old friend of Dr. Light's.
Boomstick: The mad genius, Dr. Wily, who also happened to hate Dr. Light and wanted to use robots to take over the world. So, he fixed Proto Man up, turned that wimpy and lame solar power energy core into an awesome and badass nuclear one, and made him fit for combat.
Wiz: You really don't like green energy? It could save the world one day.
Boomstick: Wiz, you made the TV solar-powered. It hasn't turned on in days.
Wiz: Really? But that doesn't make sense. It's been sunny all week.
Boomstick: Outside, maybe, but unless I rip the roof off the place, none of that light is coming inside! Seriously, you were the Boomstick on this one.
Wiz: Hmm. I think I get how Thomas Light...anyway, to prep Proto Man to fight alongside with the rest of the robot masters, Wily turned him into a proper combat robot. Enhance strength, speed, weaponry...the typical superhuman stuff.

Boomstick: Similar to his younger brother, Mega Man, he has a gun for an arm called the Proto Buster, which can shoot peas for consistent damage, or charge it up for one big attack. Or even use all of the energy he has left to launch a much larger Big Bang Strike.
Wiz: But more notable and recognizable is the Proto Shield created by Dr. Wily. While Wily couldn't repair his flawed energy core, this versatile shield which can block most attacks was given to compensate. It's tough enough to be used as a weapon in of itself, making it a good battering ram or sliding on soft surfaces.
Boomstick: And just like Mega Man, a phrase I feel like we're not gonna stop saying, he can copy and steal the signature weapons of other robot masters. Sure, he doesn't fight quite as much as his little bro, he has collected his fair share over the years.
Wiz: The Laser Trident fires a three-pronged projectile, the Jewel Satellite can either orbit around yourself to block attacks or be thrown as an attack, the Magma Bazooka can fire compressed magma, and these are just to name a few.
Boomstick: I can name a few more. The Triple Blade is a gun that shoots swords, and the Solar Blaze sends waves of fire outward, and the Commando Bomb is basically a remote control missile. You like heat-seeking missiles? Well, now not even the cold can stop it now! And while it's not the famous Metal Gear attack, the Wheel Cutter will still roll around and slice you up all the same.
Wiz: In various other Mega Man media, Proto Man has also defeated some of the older robot masters, such as Guts Man and Fire Man, so it is likely that he has some of the older weapons. Fire Storm, Time Slow, Thunder Beam...again, just to name a few.
Boomstick: You know, since we can't just give him everything for the sake of time restraints, I decided to give the rest to DUMMI.
Wiz: Yeah, that's fine--wait, why?
Boomstick: Eh, I thought it would make him happy.
DUMMI: You are correct, Mr. Boomstick. Never have I felt more powerful than I do now. Now to showcase some of the weapons you foolishly overlooked...Hornet chaser.
"Turns orange"
DUMMI: Black Hole Bomb.
"Turns purple"

Wiz: It's probably worth noting that these weapons all fire from Mega Man and Proto Man's arm cannons...which you do not have.
DUMMI: Well, that's what I get for getting my hopes up. Oh well, easy come, easy go I guess.
Wiz: With these much needed upgrades and weaponry, Proto Man was more than happy to aid Wily in his quest for revenge against Dr. Light and battle his successor; Mega Man.
Boomstick: But, after battling the Mega Man a few times, he acknowledged him as his little brother and decided he wanted to do whatever he could to keep him safe. Aww, what a good sibling. Probably helped that Wily later doubled crossed him and framed him kidnapping and terrorism, but the sibling love was still there.

Wiz: Since then, he has been in the shadows to support Mega Man on his never-ending war against Dr. Wily, but he's not afraid to go on the front lines if needed.
Boomstick: He's fought Mega Man a bunch of times, and even helped Mega Man fight the super strong robot, King, and the two together saved the world from Wily's roboanza virus.
Wiz: While Proto Man wasn't originally built for combat, neither was Mega Man, and he has gone on to save the world numerous times from all of Dr. Wily's machines, and by being of such similar designs, the brother robots should be comparable.
Boomstick: Little blue Mega can withstand temperatures as high as the sun's surface or as low as absolute zero, and is strong enough to hold a tower weighing over sixty thousand tons. (As previously determined in Mega Man vs Astroboy)
Wiz: That would require him to exert over five-hundred and thirty-three million newtons of force, which is about two hundred and fifty times what's needed to launch a space shuttle. In addition, Mega Man has also defeated Quick Man, who is faster than Elec Man's lightning attacks, making him more than two hundred thousand miles an hour. Makes sense, given the latter was based on the former.
Boomstick: Now, Wily made Quick Man with the goal of reaching the speed of light, so that puts Quick Man's speed between Mach 292 and Mach 870...000. That's a pretty big gap. Can we narrow it down a bit?
Wiz: In his most recent adventure, Dr. Light insisted that Mega Man would use the Double Gear system, basically a times two multiplier, in order to defeat the robot masters Wily had captured. One such robot master was Fuse Man, who move as a flash of lightning. The flash of a lightning bolt comes from the return stroke, which is about two hundred and twenty million miles and hour.
Boomstick: So if that took a tool that doubled his speed to beat him, I guess that would put Mega Man, and by default, Proto Man's speed to one hundred and ten millions miles an hour. Definitely close to light speed, being only a sixth of it.
Wiz: Still, while he's equal in Mega Man in many ways, he has never actually won a fight against his younger brother. Even after his initial upgrade, Proto Man's core is still faulty, and taking too much damage himself risks damaging this core even further, making him a glass cannon in comparison, hence the need for his trademarked shield.
Boomstick: And yet, it doesn't stop him from staying close to his little brother to help him when needed. What a bro.
"It's always been on my mind...what it means to be born with weapons in our hands. I haven't found the answer yet, but with the powers you've given me, I will crush your villainy."

Omega comes online for DEATH BATTLE[]
Wiz: Dr. Ivo Robotnik, better known as Eggman, continues to be a threat to the world through his evil plans and weapons of mass destruction. Serving as the backbone of his army are the badniks, broad large and diverse set of robots.
Boomstick: He'd probably would have taken over the world by now with these badniks, but the speedy blue hedgehog, Sonic, has whooped their shiny metal asses every single time. Guess Eggman needs to work on quality control.
Wiz: Actually, that's exactly what he would do. To face his blue blurry enemy, Dr. Eggman has created numerous upgraded machines. One that stands out among others was the E-100 series, elite and intelligent robots that are far more independent than the his usual badniks. One of his favorites, E-102 Gamma, could even go toe-to-toe with Sonic.
Boomstick: But, big shocker, Gamma was smart enough to know that he was being used for evil and rebelled by blowing up Eggman's other robots. Oh, and this is AFTER he made Metal Sonic. I'm seeing a pattern here.
Wiz: To be fair, Eggman never knew that Gamma betrayed him, which would explain why many future models in the E-100 series were inspired by Gamma. Most notably, the most powerful robot of the entire line-up; E-123 Omega.

Boomstick: This thing is like if you took your average badnik, and just shoved as many guns as you can down its throat. Enough so that it had more than enough firepower to take down even Sonic The Hedgehog.
Wiz: Except...shortly after being created, he was sent to guard Shadow The Hedgehog, who was kept in suspended animation, in a sealed underground facility. Which is a shame, sending such a strong machine that could possibly take down his blurry blue arch-nemesis once and for all to perform guard duty.
Boomstick: No duh. You don't load a gun unless you plan on firing. Such a waste of all of those glorious guns! And Omega thought so too, so when a sexy bat lady broke in and freed Shadow and Omega, they teamed up to form Team Dark and kick the Eggman's ass.
Wiz: As the team's muscle, Omega's role on the team is a simple one; Shoot everything!
Boomstick: Hell yeah! This bot weighs over than a ton and is more than 50% guns. Machine guns, laser guns, fire gun, drill guns that are actually grenade guns, my god, he just has guns coming out of everywhere. Hell. he's not even afraid of using people as guns.

Wiz: And much of them often covers a wide area, whether they were intended for it or not. And what I mean by that is that Omega often goes in guns blazing. These includes the aforementioned miniguns, flamethrowers, and grenade launchers. He also mounts several forms of laser weaponry, such as the Omega Shot, which can shoot laser pellets like a shotgun, or lock-on specific targets.
Boomstick: He can also focus it into a Beam Cannon, or if he just wants to kill everything, he can just unleash it all into his ultimate attack; the Chaos Inferno. I love how he can even spin his body around so he can shoot in any direction he wants.
Wiz: Omega also possesses several helpful utility functions. A pair of Jet Boosters that can boost his movement speed and, although too heavy to properly fly, can be used to hover across far distances. He can also further defend his already tanky body with a Temporal Field to shield him from attacks as well as give himself a boost in speed. A fascinating piece of tech, which got me curious.
Boomstick: You upgraded DUMMI with it too, didn't ya?
Wiz: Yeah, why not. Like you said, it seems to make him happy. Ready to try out your unbreakable shield?
DUMMI: For once in my life, I'm looking forward to be shot at. Activating Temporal Field: Now.
"As the field activates, nothing but smokes comes out of DUMMI"
Boomstick: Sweet. Let's give it a "shot" now. Shotgun leg: Activate!
DUMMI: Wait a minute! Something's not--
"BANG"
...
DUMMI: Ow.
Boomstick: Ha ha. Works fine to me.

Wiz: Okay, so while I may not have gotten the bugs out of his tech yet, when used by Omega himself, he's a damn powerful machine, one that Eggman failed to his at his full potential.
Boomstick: He went on rampage to destroy every badnik that he could, unleashing destruction that only his best buddies, Shadow and Rouge, can urge him to stop. And and even then, the money is still on murder bot. It's even canon that you should.
Wiz: In a alternate future timeline, Omega was tasked to find, defeat, and seal Shadow away in another capsule, a mission that he succeeded in. This means that if the two were to go toe-toe-toe, Omega would mostly like be the winner. Omega has even defeated Mephiles the Dark on two occasions, an enemy that Shadow himself lost to on their first bout.
Boomstick: You know, maybe Eggman locking this guy in the basement with the Super Saiyan hedgehog wasn't such a dumb idea after all.
Wiz: Sonic the Hedgehog, who is Shadow's equal, which Omega himself has even acknowledged, is famous for his speed, with his best allowing him to outrun a black hole for a period of time. When scaling Shadow with Sonic, this means Omega is capable of fighting someone moving as fast as two-hundred million miles an hour (As Previously determined in Mario vs Sonic (2018)). Furthermore, Sonic was able to survive the Death Egg exploding while on it, a structure we've estimated to be over eleven-hundred kilometers wide. That's seven times wider than the Death Star that it's based on.
Boomstick: It's not even just Sonic who survived the Death Egg. Egg-head himself once crash landed on the planet while still on it, and made a BIIIIG boom. Now sure, Eggman, despite his weird looking body, is human, and surviving this explosion, like many others he's survive, is likely from the robots he pilots.
Wiz: Given that Omega was designed to fight Shadow, would can naturally tap into the power of Chaos, the same energy used in a single chaos emerald, and also take into account that Omega was the only known badnik to survive Iblis, a monster that took over the world during a two century period of time, Omega would be more than comparable to these feats.
Boomstick: But it's not just Sonic and Shadow this guy can handle. He can even keep up with other power-types like Knuckles, and that guy can punch explosions, chop a cliff off of an island, He even grabbed and threw Mongroun, and giant robot weighing over twenty-thousand tons!
Wiz: Omega is a very powerful machine, constantly trying to prove to the world that he is Eggman's most powerful creation by destroying every other creation he has made. Unfortunately, he's a straightforward machine to an extreme fault, having the classic 'shoot first, ask questions never' mindset, which has gotten him into trouble more often than not.
Boomstick: But, he isn't a heartless robot. His time spent with Shadow and Rogue has made him very loyal to them to the point that they can keep him calm enough to actually think. But, that doesn't mean I don't approve of his plans of going in guns blazing.
Wiz: Ironic really. One of the only things that can really contain Omega, was one of the people he was meant to contain.
"Target reconfirmed. Extermination mode initiated. Payback inevitable!"
-Omega as he seeks revenge.
DEATH BATTLE![]
Amongst a a ruined city lied the sole building to remain in one piece; a small base with the Eggman symbol painted over it. Inside were numerous mountains of destroyed Egg Pawns, as well as a deactivated Omega partially hidden underneath a pile. The only entrance, a set of shutters, rose up, then back down, as a living guest enter the building.
"The robot master should be here somewhere." Proto Man said to himself as he looked around, noticing the destroyed Egg Pawns. "Clearly, it wasn't any of them. Hehe."
Proto Man made his way to the center of the base to investigate, but unbeknownst to him, he walked past Omega, upon which, his eyes lit up, having sensed Proto Man's presence.
"UNIDENTIFIED MACHINE LOCATED!"
After catching Proto Man's attention, the pile of broken robots went flying as Omega powered his way through, fixating on the unknown robot that appeared before him. It went without saying that this caught Proto Man's attention, as he grabs hold of his shield.
"INITIATING ATTACK SEQUENCE ONTO UNHOSTILE TARGET." Omega declared as he armed his wrist-lasers.
Proto Man chuckled at the enemy's straight-forward approach, since it meant that he didn't have to waste any time finding him. With the 'robot master' before him, his shield in hand, and his proto buster charged up, all he had to do now was to...
FIGHT!!!
Omega made the first move, fire laser projectiles one after another from his wrists, but each one were blocked by Proto Man's shield. They were fired rapidly, but were all blocked, and as soon as they stopped coming, Proto Man retaliated with the charged shot he held onto, which landed a direct hit that made Omega stumble. Regardless, Omega kept blasting away.
As shots were fired, Proto Man charged undeterred at Omega with his shield upfront, slamming into into his opponent , upon which, once more, caused Omega to stumble. Proto Man fired a couple of bullets, which Omega tried to counter with a punch, only for it to be blocked by the shield.
Moving his shield out of his own way, Proto Man began charging up another charge shot at point-blank range. Recognizing the danger, Omega moved his head before the proto buster fired, narrowly avoiding the attack, which flew across the room and damaged the wall it hit. In response, Omega's had a minigun appear from his left arm and aimed at Proto Man. Unlike Omega, Proto Man took some hits to the head before being forced to raise his shield once more and run away. Omega kept aiming for his fleeing opponent, but Proto Man kept moving, leaping to the top of the scrap piles and avoided the bullets.
Eventually, Omega stop firing since none of his shots landed. He looked around and saw two destroyed egg pawns at his feet.
"FIRE! FIRE!"
Proto Man stopped to see what made Omega speak up, only to be surprised by three airborne Egg Pawns flying right at him. In response, he changed his weapon to the Triple Blade, firing one to each of the egg pawns, splitting each half.
"If that's all you've got, you'll never stand a chance against him."
To go back on the offensive, Proto Man switched weapons again and spewed a torrent of flames from the high ground. After giving his own arms a spin, Omega switched to his own flamethrowers and unleashed his own flames. The collision of the flame beams halted the other, with neither attack winning, only raising the temperature of the room, something that bothered neither robot.
Shortly after, the flames stopped and Proto Man leapt back down to the floor. He switched to the Wheel Cutter and fired three razor-sharp blades at Omega, who dodged one, but got hit by the other two, although they bounced off him in the end. To retaliate, Omega switched to his rocket launcher and unloaded a monstrous barrage missiles. Even without aiming, he was certain that Proto Man would get caught in the blasts.
This was not the case. With a smug smile, Proto Man pointed out his arm and with a nod, he activated the Time Slow, which caused the missiles to move only half as fast, or at the least, they slow were to him. As he ran to Omega, he sidestepped and ducked under each missiles that came his way. He then slid across the ground, slipping between Omega's legs, and got behind the trigger-happy robot.
"Hmph. Too slow." Proto Man said as he stood back up.
After spinning around, Proto Man aimed his buster at the back of Omega's head. Or so he thought, for when he took aim, he didn't realize until the last moment that Omega had already spun around reached for Proto Man's head. While the missiles continued on to blast away at the other side of the room, Omega flew through a scrap heap and slammed Proto Man the wall. These attacks caused further damage to the building's walls.
With Proto Man still in his hand, Omega spun his upper body around, and with each rotation, he slammed Proto Man into the wall again and again. After repeating this five more times, Omega activated his jet boosters to zoom across the room with Proto Man still hand, scrapping the robot master against the wall as they traveled.
After his trip around the building, Proto Man finally dug his feet into the ground and slowed Omega down. Furthermore, he switched to the Super Arm to briefly overpower Omega and flung him away. He then switched back to the Commando Bomb and fired multiple missiles of his own. Omega dodged them by spinning his body around, but while some of the bombs kept exploded on the impact of the wall behind him, some of them turn back around and struck him from behind.
From there, Proto Man and Omega constantly fired shots from their Proto Buster and Omega Shots respectively, with only a few landing occasional his on the other, and while the two of them could take the damage, the building could not. After Proto Man deflected an Omega Shot with his shield, the projectile was bounced to the roof. As the walls had accumulated damage since the beginning of the fight, the roof finally caved in and dropped straight down onto the battlefield. Proto Man and Omega both looked up and...
CRASH!!!
The roof...never reached the ground.
Before it landed, Proto Man and Omega held their arms up and caught the roof before it had the chance to crush them. This brought the fight to a halt and allowed Proto Man to have a sigh in relief...
For about a second before Omega began shooting him again with one arm holding the roof. Remembering that he was still fighting, Proto Man fired his shots again at Omega as well with the two of them each holding the roof with one arm. Since they were both pinned down, the two robots got off a bunch of free shots off the other with their blasters. Both realizing that the other wasn't moving, they both momentarily stopped firing and instead started to charge up energy.
"Big Bang Strike!"
"ANNIHILATE!"
At near point-blank range, the Big Bang Strike and the Chaos Inferno collide into a beam struggle with no clear winner. However, due to how close these massive energy attacks were from sources, as well as the confined space...
BOOM!!!
They could've taken this battle to a much larger, far more reinforced building that didn't take damage from their bout like the building they were in, but it would not have mattered, for the entire building ended up blown up from their strongest attacks, creating a giant pile of rubble to replace where the building stood.
Proto Man crawled up from underneath, damaged, but was still functioning. He looked around to find to notice that while Omega and the building were both gone, he was still kicking. With the fight over and Proto Man calming down, he let out a heavy sigh of relief.
...
"CONSUMER MODEL LOCATED!"
Jumping through the rubble came Omega, alive, well and ready to resume the battle. From his right arm, a drill emerged from the barrel, while his wrist-laser remained in his left.
"You've got to be kidding me." Proto Man said as he pointed is buster at his still-living enemy. He tried to fire from his Proto Buster, but after hearing nothing but a clicking noise, he realizes that its energy was depleted. Instead, he switched to, and subsequently fired the Laser Trident, which made a direct hit onto Omega's blaster, disabling it.
With omega's guard down, Proto Man used that time to reshape the Laser Trident to form a single, red-glowing sword and leapt to his location with a downward swing. Omega dodged, but was forced to keep backing up as Proto Man several attempts to swing his blade. Omega tried to stab Proto Man with his drill, but it was blocked by a quick raise of the Proto Shield. In return, the shield was bashed into Omega, which pushed him back once more.
Tired that it kept getting in his way, Omega reached straight for the shield for the shield itself and attempted to rip it out of Proto Man's hand, but the latter resisted and tried to keep it. This was especially awkward since the shield was so large, meaning that neither had an opening to even attack.
Figuring that detail out first, Proto Man came up with his next plan. He intentionally loosened his grip, which allowed Omega to yank the shield out of his hands, but it also made his upper body rotate by ninety degrees. With Omega's eyes off his opponent, held his free hand forward, held his sword behind him as far as he could, and when Omega turned his body back into position...
SWISH!
Proto Man plunged his sword deep into Omega's chest, which caused electricity leak out as he took on the internal damage. The shock from the attack also caused him to drop the shield he had previously stolen. After that, with the blade plunged so deep inside, Omega wasn't even able to move his body or legs.
"Gotcha, you predictable brute." Proto Man stated
Satisfied with the damage, Proto Man began to pull the blade out to finish the job. As he tried to pull the sword out, he was surprised to when he witnessed Omega's free hand swooped down and grabbed his sword hand, as he still had fight in him despite the damage. While Proto Man tried to pull out, Omega kept pulling him back in.
"W-W-W-WORTHLESS...PROTOTY-Y-Y-YPE." Omega said. With Proto Man also stuck in place, Omega drove his drill straight into Proto Man's own chest.
"UGH!!!"
Omega then pulled his arm back out, but the drill was left inside Proto Man's chest, as well as the explosive that was attacked to the other end of the drill. Before either one of them had a chance to retreat, the explosive went off, creating yet another blast, albeit a smaller one, with the two of caught in the middle of it.
Eventually, the dust settled, and there was now a small area clear of debris from the first explosion. When it cleared, Omega was surprised when he saw that sword was still jammed into his body...but that was all. Proto Man himself was gone, with only his arm remaining, and after the Laser-Trident-sword powered down, the arm dropped to the ground. This meant that Omega was the last robot standing.

DUMMI: Oh, the tragedy. Today, I have lost another robot brother. I will mourn for him for a thousand robot days.

DUMMI: And that was a thousand robot days. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some robot arms I need to salvage. BRB.
Wiz: While he may play second fiddle to Mega Man, Proto Man was more than enough to keep Omega on his toes. He was a much calmer and a more rational thinker, and his numerous weapons meant he could go on the offensive at any point.
Boomstick: But, like his blue bomber brother, those weapons have a limited ammo. Even worse, Proto Man himself has a limited energy supply and can't keep fighting forever, unlike Omega, who has never been shown having the same ammunition problem and can keep functioning for hundreds of years. Plus, he had LOTS of different guns of his own.
Wiz: At first glance, it would seem like Proto Man possesses greater physical strength, as he could match Mega Man, who lifted that sixty-thousand ton tower, a feat requiring five-hundred and thirty-three million newtons of force. However, when scaling Omega to Knuckles throwing the twenty-thousand ton Mongroun, they're actually dead even.
Boomstick: This giant robot, who is totally not MechaGodzilla, is about thirty meters tall. And looking at this clip here where he was thrown right on screen, that's probably about how far he was thrown.
Wiz: To throw something that heavy , Knuckles would've had to exert over five-hundred and forty million newtons of force. Nearly identical to what Mega Man can do. This in turn would mean that Proto Man and Omega's strength should be right on par.
Boomstick: So this means that they would both have a hard time really overpowering each other, at least not at first. But when comparing Proto Man's energy core to Omega's battery, Proto Man really can't afford to let the fight drag on. That's why his best chance at winning is to beat Omega right away.
Wiz: Unfortunately for Proto Man, a robot of Omega's quality would not go down so easily. Recall that Death Egg explosion that Eggman survived through his older tech. By measuring the explosion and comparing it to the epicenter of the Earth, we estimated that this explosion to have been over fifteen hundred meters wide. A blast this massive would have to be worth just under two-hundred Teratons of TNT.
Boomstick: That's like four million Tsar bombs blowing up all at once. Plus, Omega can beat Shadow, who's full power is similar to a chaos emerald, which has planet shifting levels of power.
Wiz: Even when sticking with the Death Egg explosion, Proto Man should not reasonably match this durability feat. In the future, Dr. Wily would go on to build Zero, a robot design to be superior to Mega Man in everyway, including durability. His best durability feat was surviving destruction of the Eurasia space colony, which was comparable to the one hundred Teraton meteor that caused the dinosaur's extinction.
Boomstick: Now that would make Zero's durability similar to Omega's, but remember, Zero was made specifically to be better than Mega Man, and while Proto Man in Mega Man's equal in a lot of ways, durability is the one notable exception. He just can't take too much damage without risking more damage to that shotty power source of his. This also means that it's really unlikely that Proto Man could win with a lucky strike.
Wiz: In comparison, Omega is able to breach Proto Man's own defenses. Even with his shield, Mega Man has won every bout, and when empowered, could defeat the two-hundred million miles an hour moving Fuse Man. And without any power-ups, Omega can battle Shadow, who can move at the same speeds. This meant that Omega would have no trouble working around the Proto Shield.
DUMMI: Alas, the very original robot master could not be a match for one who was built to be the final product in the line. An interesting contrast if you ask me. But now, I have his arms and am one step closer to have a full body. Check out these muscles.
Boomstick: Wait, if you didn't have arms before, then how did--
Wiz: Well, you seem chipper now. How about you send us off?
DUMMI: Very well. Ahem. Proto Man's now mine arsenal and power did him wonders, but against Omega's hardier defenses, nigh-limitless stamina, and unending brutality meant that he would win in the ultimate war of attrition.
Boomstick: Poor Proto Man. Not only could he not beat Mega Man, but he couldn't beat Omega...Man.
Wiz: The winner is E-123 Omega.

- The connections between Proto Man and Omega is that they are both red robots that rebelled and left their creators. They each possess a very large arsenal of weaponry (With Proto Man having the copy weapon system and Omega having varies guns and and explosives). Both are somewhat morally gray (Proto Man being and on/off villain and Omega prioritizing on revenge above most else). Both have also mellowed due to a friendship/rivalry (Mega Man and Shadow The Hedgehog respectively).
