Super Mario Bros. VS Sonic the Hedgehog! The battle of the comic versions of Mario and Sonic!

Super Mario-Kun[]
Wiz: From Video Game to Kun. Mario-Kun isn’t your average Super Mario. Mario Kun is more of a Japanese comic book version of Mario. The story isn’t much tho it’s just adaptions from the game but with a little elements of originally.
Boomstick: don’t underestimate Mario-Kun tho. While he has feats and power ups from his original counterpart, he can do certain things of his own.
Wiz: Shockingly enough, Dimentio exists in Mario-Kun to! Mario Kun can move inside The Void which was sucking up space and time also he can even survive The Void itself. Not only is his speed immeasureable but his Durability is out of this world. Literally.
Boomstick: Wiz, why does Mario look like that.
wiz: because Manga. Also Mario seems to possess Toon Force. He can pull items out of no where, can shapeshift, Inflate his body at will, can get crushed, can get flattened, can remove his facial features, can remove his own head, if he is killed, his spirit can just fly back into his body and revive him entirely, and can regenerate over time. His strength feat on the other hand. It doesn’t make any sense. Okay, Mario-Kun reached up, GRABBED THE SUN and pulled it all the way down to Earth. Let me repeat that, he grabbed the sun with his bare hands and pulled the entire thing down to Earth.
Boomstick: this is Manga Mario, This doesn’t make any sense. Also he has a time machine made of uh…Barrels or something.
Wiz: also Mario-Kun has plot Manipulation. So even if Mario Kun can’t win in a fight based on reason. He can just snap and re write history or the plot. Bowser even defeated the manga Arthur and re-wrote the comic so Mario would lose, but Mario just “ignored” it, and won anyway. The Manga Kamen is a higher plan of existence and controls LITERALLY EVERYTHING. He’s basically The Manga God itself. That’s literally Insane.
Boomstick: Mario Kun can create clones of himself, freeze time with an NES controller, has his own Mech suit to pilot around, become Moon Mario which gives him flight and can toss smaller Moons, can mix up his own power ups together, can give himself extra lives if he wanted to preventing him from dying, and can become invincible with the Star power or Invincible Leaf, which is unlimited by the way, can chop a plane in half with an axe, punch Bowser’s airship so hard it falls apart, also he can turn into Paper Mario
Wiz: Don’t mess with Mario-Kun unless your ready to get flattened?

Archie Sonic[]
Wiz. Sonic Morbis Hedgehog, Leader of the freedom fighters. Sonic the hedgehog will fight along side his friends and beat the evil Dr Ivo Robotnik. Sonic is rather different from video game Sonic. REALLY DIFFERENT
Boomstick: Sonic’s speed was so evenly matched with video game sonic and even surprassed that. Sonic can move through stopped time itself. That is BS. Sonic can also attack using the spin dash, burrow under ground, turn himself invisible, create after images by running too fast, and can slow down time with his own speed.
Wiz: he even reversed the pull of a black hole and got blasted 840,000 light years ahead. That would take 5 trillion tons of TNT. Sonic also has super forms. If he has a Super Emerald he can reach Super or Ultra Sonic. In this forms, Sonic can use Chaos energy, can control time, is invincible, can send someone to the Zone of Silence, and can wish his enemies away if he wanted to.
Boomstick: Sonic has even became the embodiment of literal fate itself making it so hard to kill. Fate literally bends to him. Sonic can survive explosions and tons of attacks. He never ever gets tired. His strength is even at Universal Level.
Wiz: we weren’t kidding, Archie Sonic is that powerful than video game Sonic, almost impossible to kill all together. Sonic even picked up a ball and threw it at a robot flicky at 100 attoseconds and reverse the effects of a black hole with his speed alone
Intermission[]
Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all!It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
Manga Mario sits down beside a pipe and is about to enjoy a chilli dog, until a blue blur waves in front of him and surely his Chilly dog is gone. Mario looks and sees Sonic chewing on it.
Mario: Hey, sir! That’s my chilly dog! What gives?
Sonic: Finders Keepers, pal
Sonic finishes the chilly dog in one bite and when he was about to run off, Mario shoots a fire ball at him, knocking him into a pipe causing a dent in it. Sonic gets up angrily
Sonic: NOT COOL, BRO! YOU JUST ANGERED THE HEDGEHOG YOU SHOULDNT HAVE MESSED WIRH
Mario: just a sec
Mario puts on a announcer costume and announces the fight. Mario’s voice says the words Fight instead of the announcer.
FIGHT![]
Mario starts shooting fire balls at Sonic.
Mario: FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE
Sonic dodges them easily and goes in for a dash attack but is hit back with Mario’s hammer. Rings fly out of Sonic. Mario throws a boomerang at Sonic but Sonic jumps over the boomerang and dashes attacks into Mario. Mario flings back and as Sonic goes in for another attack, Mario kicks Sonic up and Mario dunks him into the ground like he’s a volleyball. Sonic hits the ground with a thud.
Sonic: learn to play fair…
Mario gets up and starts to clone himself ten times. They all take out items but Sonic slows down time with his speed.
Sonic: pfft, first boomerangs and now cloning, come on. Ive seen worse. Now let’s play.
Sonic attacks all the clones and spin dashes into all of them and punching them around like their toys. Sonic eventually runs into Manga Mario and throws him into the ground. Mario gets back up on his feet. Mario looks at Sonic. Mario points aggressively at Sonic in anime style
Mario: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME CLONES????
Sonic: what is with your speech patterns I swear-
Mario quickly punches Sonic, pulls out a cat suit and scratches the crap outta Sonic and even hammers him in the face. Mario then throws a bomb at Sonic which blows him up. Mario covers himself. He then sees Sonic emerge as Super Sonic
Super Sonic: NOW I WILL SHOW YOU.
Mario’s clones try to attack him but Sonic quickly kills them and tries to go into Mario but Manga Mario jumps out of the way, detaching his own head and catching it again. He pulls out a super star and absorbs the power becoming invincible. Super Sonic shoots an energy beam of chaos magic and Manga Mario is hit but because of his invincibility, he is unaffected. Sonic also tries his wish powers, atomic manipulation, and even freezing time again. Mario’s invincibility shields him all together. Sonic resorts to just punching Mario in the face with Mario surviving every blow. Mario punches Sonic off him. Sonic spin dashes again but Mario catches it and punches him all the way across the earth. Sonic gets reverted back to original form. Mario’s Star power wears off. Mario mocks and laughs at Sonic’s defeat and jumps around in anime style.
Mario: I, Mario, has beaten the blue animal, what a victory.
An explosion is heard and Ultra Sonic emerges from the shadows. Sonic is seen rushing towards Mario and starts combing him into outer space. Sonic keeps hitting Mario with all his force and fires a beam of light at him. Mario Kun absorbs the invincibility Leaf and blocks the attack.
Sonic: THATS IT!!! YOU CAN’T BLOCK THIS ATTACK
Sonic opens a portal to the Zone of Silence and threatens to trap Mario inside. Sonic rushes in for one final punch to send Mario through. Mario pulls out his time machine and time travels to the exact moment to when Sonic’s Ultra Form wears off.
Sonic: huh, where’d he go?! He must’ve fled if he knows what’s good for him. Sucks my super form worn off.
Manga Mario: BYE BYE, HEDGEHOG
Mario reappears behind Sonic, still in his invincibility leaf form, and punches him with all his force poofing him out of existence entirely, Sonic can be heard screaming as he dies.
Sonic: CURSE YOU, MUSTACHE FREAK!!!!!
Sonic’s rings splat all over the place, meaning his dead for good. The Zone of Silence closes and Manga Mario is left floating in space. At the end of the fight, we zoom out to see Manga Kamen writing and drawing the animation fight itself showing Mario can win regardless of what happens.

Mario is shown exiting the Manga and giving Manga Kamen a high five thanking him for making him win.
Results[]
Boomstick: Damn, I knew Mario was immediately gonna win with that stupid Plot Manipulation.
Wiz: Sonic may have had the speed advantage, obviously giving how that’s his thing, but Mario trumped everything else. Mario can easily defend against Sonic’s Ultra form with his invincibility items. Mario can also time travel to the moment where Sonic’s time limit goes away. Also Mario has extra lives therefore he can just come back even if Sonic kills him first.
Boomstick: Wiz stop, you realize regardless of what Sonic can do, Mario will always win, he has plot Manipulation, he can just change the outcome to ANY fight whenever he wants. There was no point in Sonic trying anyway.
Wiz: your right, Boomstick, even if Sonic was faster, Mario’s durability shows that he can survive The Void which was sucking up space and time which means Mario tanked literally everything collapsing on him at once. Mario even defeated Bowser who defeated The Manga Kamen who’s basically God in Super Mario Kun. Mario literally defeated his own God which would put him High Multiversal Level more greater than Archie Sonic. Ultra Sonic can easily deliver a killing blow tho Mario can just keep throwing everything at once to eventually Sonic’s super form wears off entirely leaving him vulnerable.
Boomstick: or he can just use Invincibility Leaf and just cheat the whole battle. Like, with that suit, there’s no contest with that thing on him! Even if Sonic can throw Mario into the Zone of Silence, Mario will not only survive, given how he can survive black holes and voids, but he can just poof right back with Plot Manipulation or using his extra life’s.
Wiz: Archie Sonic was fast and has incredible levels of ridiculous power especially with his super forms but Mario Kun’s strength, durability, plot manipulation, and power-ups were too much for Sonic to handle
Boomstick: Sorry, Sonic, it seems you were too slow. You got Mari-Owned! Again!
Wiz: The Winner is Mario-Kun!
