~ Wario, WarioWare: Touched!

Greed is good. Greed makes you do great things. Greed loves old people, gold coins, and puppies. It will get you everything, even if you have to piledrive your enemies to do so.

History[]

Feeling that he was "bullied" by childhood friend Mario, and needing a place to call home, Wario attempted to steal Mario's home from him while using a spell to appear the rightful owner. Mario eventually drives Wario off and he and his partner Waluigi caused trouble for the Mario Brothers ever since. But Wario sometimes does the right thing, for the wrong reasons.

  • Chaotic and unpredictable arsenal of abilities and skills.

Attacks[]

  • Shoulder Charge — A powerful arm ram that can break blocks.
  • Ground Pound — A powerful butt slam.
  • Wild Swing Ding — A move where he grabs foes by the legs, swings them around, and chucks them away.
  • Piledriver — Wario performs a piledriver.
  • Power Throw — A charged up throw that sends enemies flying.
  • Chomp — Wario bites on his enemy before chucking them away. Allows him to inhale enemies and eat inanimate objects.
  • Inhaling Chomp (Sm4sh) / Hyper Suction (Wario World) — Wario sucks enemies (or objects) into his mouth and then chomps on them.
  • Garlic Breath — Wario exhales garlic breath at his opponent, which either stuns them or knocks them over.
  • Wario Bike — Wario summons a bike from hammerspace and can ram into his enemy, can do a wheelie, and can even eat and use it as a projectile.
  • Wario Waft — His internal gasses can build up to a degree where his farts can be weaponized; creating an explosion that can propel Wario upwards. At full power the 'Wario Waft' is Wario's most powerful attack.
  • Rose-Scented Waft — Wario releases a pink-coloured waft that puts a Flower on the target's head, draining their energy and inflicting continuous damage.

Power-Up Pots[]

  • Bull Pot — Gives Wario a strength boost and lets him cling to ceilings.
  • Dragon Pot — Lets him shoot fire.
  • Jet Pot — Lets Wario move quicker and fly for short periods of time.
  • Giant Balloon WarioAttained by inflating himself with a pump

Forms[]

  • Fat Wario — After eating an apple, donut or cake: Wario becomes absurdly obese. His weight is so massive that he can kill enemies by walking into them or create earthquakes whenever he jumps or falls. However his mobility is significantly reduced and the form quickly ends after he 'burns off the fat'.
  • Eagle Wario — Grants flight
  • King Dragon Wario — Allows Wario to fly and shoot fire
  • Sea Dragon Wario — Idem, but without the flying part
  • Puffy Wario — The result of Wario getting stung by a bee, allowing him to fly (again)
  • Bouncy Wario — The result of Wario getting squashed by an Ape's Hammer. It allows him to bounce around but wears off over time.
  • Crazy Wario / Inebriated Wario — In this state, Wario is either dizzy (Not Japan) or drunk (Japan), depending on the version of Wario Land II played. Wario is uncontrollable in this form, but can belch poisonous gas. He regains his senses by touching water.
  • Hot Wario — If Wario is set on fire, he will run around eratically and spread the fire, eventually even becoming a living fireball. Wears off over time or if he touches water.
  • Flat Wario — An alternate result of Wario getting squashed, where he can glide through the air but is otherwise defenceless. Also stopped by water.
  • Zombie Wario — If he is bitten by a zombie, Wario loses the ability to jump, but is invulnerable and can kill most normal enemies upon contact. Reverted by exposure to light.
  • Vampire Wario — Another undead Wario form that kills enemies by touch and is averted by light (Additionally also water and garlic). Wario can also turn into a bat.
  • Metal Wario — By grabbing a Power Flower, Wario turns into Metal Wario, becoming temporarily tougher, stronger and heavier until the effects wear off by themselves. He can also run underwater.
  • Other forms are not covered due to being enemy-specific or non-combat applicable

Other Abilities, Power-Ups and Weapons[]

  • Bob-ombs
  • Hypnosis
  • A large vacuum
  • A pump
  • Magnet
  • Fire Flower
  • Carrot (Carrot Wario can fly)

Wario-Man[]

  • Wario's ultimate form, reached by eating rotten/expired garlic or falling into the Gravitator
  • Insanely boosted strength and speed
  • Invulnerable
  • His bike travels insanely fast
  • Wario Waft charges much faster and can one-hit kill
  • Can fly (WarioWare only)

  • Very lazy
  • Will do anything to get money
  • Most of his transformations rely on attacks by specific enemies from Wario Land games

Failures[]

  • Defeated by the Mario bros on many occasions
  • Loses many tennis games with Waluigi against the Mario Bros many times
    • Even getting trained by Bowser and cheating couldn’t give them an advantage either
  • Wario-Man failed to stop a train; despite thinking that he was strong enough to do so.

Trivia[]
